This Defense of the BBC by Brian Stelter Is Getting Uncomfortable, and a NEW Global Calamity Emerges!

  • By this point, we should ask if Brian is an investor.

Ever since this weekend saw the blowup in the upper reaches of the executive suites of the BBC, the biggest defender of the British broadcaster here stateside has been Brian Stelter. CNN’s media maven has been supremely focused on the documentary with manipulated audio of a President Trump speech that sparked the outrage, and this is for a reason. Brian feels that if he can explain away this one controversy, the outrage may be quelled. But he is doing this to deflect from the fact that this manipulative editing was but a portion of a lengthy internal review that listed out a jarringly long list of violations against journalism ethics.

One of the tired tropes he relies on is that this controversy is all ginned up from the conservative side, both in Britain and here. If he can toss Trump/MAGA in the mix, that is expected to poison the criticism and see it die down.

  • Clearly, Abby is not aware of who she is speaking to.

Want to see a hilarious dose of projection? Abby Phillip appeared on a video-cast with deposed hostess Joy Reid, and it will be a surprise to no one that things went sideways. Abby mentioned that she needs to stay up to date on all conspiracy theories because she needs this knowledge in order to beat back the narratives from the uninformed people on the Right.

Uh-huh.

Apparently, Abby sees no conspiracies from leftists, is that the read here? That this comes out as the BBC has been exposed with fraudulent reporting and the U.S. press is consumed with a Jeffrey Epstein email on Trump that is a non-troversy is bad enough. That Abby has this talk with the woman who, when she was on MSNBC, could not go a week without invoking bat-crap, lunacy-level conspiracies is almost amazing.

  • Any chance you journalists can explain this?

We all know the press loves to cover a protest – so long as it is leftists doing so. In the latest example of unquestioning coverage of a demonstration, a group got together in Portland to protest in front of the local ICE facility. It is the “How” that is the issue.

These people lined up and began performing aerobics routines. They did this dressed in 1980s-era workout duds.

What the purpose had been, or what was accomplished, are things the news outlet was not bothered with exploring.

  • If we follow the other science, does that make us “science deniers”?

There is a new global-climate-emergency-warming-change-crisis report. This is…something else.

According to a new study, the conditions in Iceland are turning dire (as always), and the shifting conditions will deliver calamity (don’t they always…) and we need to begin panicking yesterday. (What else is new?)

There is a slight difference this time: The shifting influences are said to be provoking a new ice age. Now, you may be thinking this is a complete contradiction to the past decades of hype, but we are still told that this will lead to the ocean levels rising to dangerous proportions.

  • Ah, yes, these folks are doing just fine…

So with this release of the Epstein email, that is vacant of anything substantial, you just had to know the masterminds at The Bulwark would be in an unblinking furor over this.

Annnnd…they did not disappoint…
