Reporting on the Mirror – MSNBC
This would be the time to call for a wellness check.
Lawrence O’Donnell does not appear to be well. On his show, he went off on a rant (that part is status quo), but his demeanor, and specifically his target, were well off the mark.
He chose to spend a lengthy segment slamming conservative figure Scott Jennings. Larry was railing about Jennings being paid to go on the air at CNN and lie, continuously. Now, to start, ANYone at MSNBC complaining about others lying is simply hilarious. So, what specifically was cited by O’Donnell? Nothing, nothing at all. He just accuses Jennings of lying, and nothing direct is ever alluded to.
Then, as Larry becomes louder and more perturbed, he declares that he enjoys ratings that on most nights are triple that of the program Jennings appears on in the same time slot. This only makes his unhinged wailing about Jennings all the more nonsensical, as one would think he should encourage Scott to continue and preserve Larry’s winning streak.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell appears to suffer an on-air psychotic break over the fact that @ScottJenningsKY is being paid to express his opinions on CNN:

Anti-Social Media – CBS NEWS
This does not exactly make the boasts from the press corps sound valid.
After weeks of melodrama leading up to the Pentagon correspondents walking off the job, we were told repeatedly that they would still bravely commit to doing their jobs and delivering the needed facts about Pentagon activities.
As Secretary of War Pete Hegseth makes a trip to South Korea, there are numerous facets about his visit that an intrepid journalist could cover to deliver vital information to the public. Jim LaPorta, National Security Editor of CBS News, decided he would use his journalism skill set to address what he considers a vital component of the Hegseth trip.
When Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth visits South Korea this week, he will face off against one of the most dangerous enemies to military readiness: Facial hair. https://t.co/Z7iWob242P

Pathological Media Amnesia – MSNBC
There is simply no way she, or Pritzker, expected anybody to believe this.
Nicolle Wallace had on Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, and in the usual dose of bellyaching, the duo managed to deliver an astounding claim that defies logic on the deepest level: They both claimed that no Democrats have called President Trump “Hitler.”
🚨NEW: MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace *ACTUALLY* claims no Democrats have ever implied "TRUMP IS HITLER"🚨

Drop examples below 👇
I'll start: Jasmine Crockett has *literally* called Trump "Temu Hitler" and "Wannabe Hitler"🤦♂️@DailyCaller pic.twitter.com/GOsxOrNWDN
That sound in the distance was jaws collectively hitting desk tops. The stones it takes to make this statement alone is remarkable. For it to be THESE two, of all people, boasting is all the more audacious.

Here’s one minute straight of JB Pritzker comparing Trump and his administration to Hitler 👇🏻

As for Nicolle, if she goes an episode on her afternoon show where she, or a guest, doesn’t make that accusation, it is indeed a rare event.

Gilded Reframe – SEMAFOR
The tone of surprise is the real charming aspect here.
Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is out touting her new book, and she has not exactly been bowling people over with her impressive skills. She sat down for a discussion with the New Yorker and came off sounding close to Kamala Harris.
Max Tani looks at this interview and expresses surprise that she appeared deeply unprepared, especially as a supposedly trained professional from the highest of positions. Funny thing that, considering many of us have been pointing out her lack of a skill set in her role for years, yet were met with accusations of being racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.
i can partially understand when some kind of clueless public person walks into an isaac chotiner interview unprepared, but the individual stumbling through this interview was until very recently one of the highest-ranking government communications officials in the country... https://t.co/xEPgQZJqDf

Race to the Bottom – CHANNEL 13 CBS, SACRAMENTO
These people expecting standards and regulations sure sound horrible!
In the wake of another semi accident where an illegal alien who had a CDL caused a fatal accident, local news station Channel 13 looked sympathetically at the plight of Sikh drivers who will be asked to show their credentials to traffic officers.
Curiously, the reporter implies that the simple act of asking for documents will cause drivers who are here legally to quit their jobs. But the best is toward the end, where she mentions the challenge for some drivers is not knowing English and being capable of reading highway signs, and she does not see this as a serious issue.
I can't believe this is real but it is. CBS Sacramento did a segment last night on the growing threat to Sikh truck drivers.
— MAZE (@mazemoore) October 24, 2025
"The roadway risk for Sikh truck drivers is growing."
Even the ending is comedy. They can't read English street signs and that could be a problem. You… pic.twitter.com/9K7zEBJpyZ
