Legalized Press-titution – ABC NEWS
Could you wipe off the slobber while simping for this woman?!
ABC News saw fit to cover the upcoming arraignment of Letitia James, and there is more than just the muted coverage, as compared to the excitement that was on display any time Donald Trump was indicted.
First, they saw a need to say that she was indicted by the attorney general who was “hand-picked” by President Trump. As opposed to any other AG who is… always hand-selected?
But there is also the sly implication this was forced through by Trump’s minions, when in truth, James was indicted by a grand jury, after being presented evidence of wrongdoing.

But, otherwise, grand reporting, folks!

Democratic Custodial Services – WASHINGTON POST
This was unanimous then, or…?
There was a separate bill offered up during the government shutdown to have federal workers and military members paid during this closure. It died in the Senate, a result of Democrats wanting to extend the misery of others for their political leverage.
At the Washington Post, you would be led to believe this was a bipartisan decision, as it just states the body blocked the bill, and even used a photo of Republican Senator Leader Thune to sell the con job.

Prose & Contradiction – THE NEW YORK TIMES
It is identical to what she did, but NOW it is cruel and wrong?!
The Times is also taking a decidedly sympathetic approach to the James case. The suggestion here is that the prosecutors are taking a step to go after her that is not normally seen.
Yet…
A couple of dozen paragraphs into its report, The Times managed to kind of sort of address an uncomfortable fact: she did the very same thing, in regards to Trump.
She is a longstanding villain in the eyes of the MAGA movement and an official whose apparent eagerness to use law enforcement power against Mr. Trump raised eyebrows in even liberal legal circles in New York. Ms. James campaigned for attorney general on a pledge to investigate him and his company. After she was elected, she made good on that promise. In 2022, she filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of exaggerating his net worth by billions of dollars.
I wonder, can you discern the approach by the @NYTimes just by this headline?

BlueAnon – THE DAILY BEAST
So an archaeologist is upset that offices and hallways are demolished?
The hysteria over the White House East Wing Ballroom construction continues, and we might have one of the most stunted reactions. There has been a flood of people posting images of what the EW looked like, decorated and used for events. So they are upset an entertainment area was cleared out to build up a larger entertainment area.
The Daily Beast found an architect who is upset with the removal of history (the building went up in the 1940s), and then takes it to an all new level. He compares Trump installing a ballroom to Mid-East terrorists erasing religious history in that region:
In the mid-2010s, ISIS carried out a campaign of cultural vandalism to impose its ideology, intimidate populations, and rewrite history. The result was a deliberate assault on cultural memory with the intention of narrowing the story a society can tell about itself, Vincent explained, warning that tearing out storied spaces in the White House in order to install a gaudy showpiece echoes that playbook used by ISIS extremists to rewrite the past.
The archaeologist said Trump’s East Wing project shows a “horrific” disregard for U.S. heritage, echoing the cultural vandalism once committed by ISIS. https://t.co/8P2KZqv6oR pic.twitter.com/Agj823aZhs
