Some online have raised questions about my registering with the U.S. Justice Department as someone working with the government of Israel to help Americans understand why Israel is such an important ally. Let me be absolutely clear: yes, I did. And I am proud of it.
Unlike those who quietly cash checks from America’s enemies, I followed the law, filed publicly, and said out loud what I believe: Israel is our ally, antisemitism is rising, and Western civilization is under attack. I won’t apologize for telling the truth or for volunteering to be on the front lines of the most important ideological battle of our era.
This isn’t a new war to defend Western values, but it is our moment to defend them.
Americans of my generation—especially those who lived through 9/11—don’t need to be convinced of that reality. Radical Islamists want to destroy the world we know and replace it with something far darker. Too many younger Americans, disillusioned by failed institutions and endless wars, don’t see it or understand it. That makes them vulnerable to propaganda designed to tear down the West from within.
But those of us who know better have a duty to fight while there’s still time. What’s at stake isn’t abstract. It’s as concrete as the principles of the American founding and, even before America, the foundation of civil society. It’s the values that built our nation: pre-political, God-given rights, democracy, liberty, the rule of law, freedom of religion and speech, and yes, traditional families. Those principles connect the Greeks, the Romans, the Magna Carta, and the Declaration of Independence to the Ten Commandments. This defines who we are as a people.

This isn’t just about personal faith or what we “believe.” What we are fighting for is an accurate description of reality and what makes us not just Americans, but human beings with inalienable rights worthy of protection. This is the heart of Western Civilization.
And yet, radical progressives here at home want to replace these sacred values with secularism, censorship, race-based politics, socialism, and bureaucratic control. Overseas (and alarmingly increasingly here at home), jihadists commit murder and terror in pursuit of the same end goal: destroy Western civilization.
Don’t believe me? Look at New York City. A socialist mayoral candidate refuses to denounce a “global intifada.” That’s the perfect axis of insanity: socialism and jihadism, united in their hatred for America and the West.
In the Middle East, Israel is standing on the front lines of this same fight. They face daily threats from radical terrorists and authoritarian regimes that chant, “Death to Israel, Death to America.” That’s not a slogan—it’s a mission statement. They understand that Israel and America’s history and, therefore, our mutual destiny are inextricably intertwined.
We have to understand this. The “we” here applies to everyone, including the naïve college protestors who think they’re exempt or the young Gen Z podcast bros who think they know everything about “America First.”
We need to understand our moment in history and fight for Western Civilization and our values. That’s why I refuse to back down. I am proud to stand with Israel. Proud to fight the antisemitism infecting our culture. Proud to educate young Americans about the real stakes of this battle.
My values haven’t changed. I helped launch the MAGA movement because I believe in America First and what that truly means: defending our way of life, built on a Judeo-Christian heritage. Standing with Israel is part of that mission. When history looks back, it will show there were those who stood up at the inflection point of our civilization—and those who shrank back.
I know which side I’m on.
