Stealth Story Evolution – THE DAILY BEAST

  • If Hunter is listening to you, are you then qualified as an influencer?

The Daily Beast is having a tough go of it. The news this week is that Melania Trump is threatening Hunter Biden with a massive defamation lawsuit, as the former First Recidivist claimed that Jeffrey Epstein was the one to introduce her to Donald Trump. Hunter has since brushed off this threat, vulgarly.

The challenge for Hunter, beyond no longer having Daddy running cover for him from the West Wing, is that he based his comments on a disputed piece from The Daily Beast, which the outlet has since been forced to retract, as it was entirely baseless.

Low Octane Gas Lighting – THE DAILY BEAST

  • Presenting this as being done without cause is…quite the position to hold.

The Beast has come out with a rather scathing piece on Governor Ron DeSantis, one that is also rather dim in its approach. The article written by “Breaking News Intern,” Kinneal Patterson, claims that DeSantis has “slaughtered” five military veterans, and a letter signed by over 100 vets is pleading for him to stop.

What was minimized by this intern is that these were men on Florida’s death row for heinous crimes, including one serial killer who confessed to raping and murdering numerous women. Included in this obtuse report is that DeSantis is himself a military vet, but leaves off a crucial detail in his service. He was a Naval JAG officer who worked as a prosecutor, so he is rather keen on holding the guilty accountable and not excusing them of serious crime simply for having served the country.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – THE FOREIGN PRESS ASSOCIATION

  • Claiming that a press pass exonerates terrorist activity.

On the subject of those who should not be held accountable, we have this interview with Ian Williams of the FPA. This is concerning the story many are upset about, the killing of Anas al-Sharif, an alleged journalist who was killed in Gaza in an attack by Israeli forces. The IDF has come out with documents showing that Al-Sharif was working in conjunction with Hamas, was seen in photos and reports as a member, and might have even been the leader of his own terror cell.

Williams, however, wants to sweep all of that aside and condemn his killing because he was positioned as a journalist in Gaza. “I don’t care if he was a member of Hamas…” is all you need to hear from this dolt.

Both Kinds of Standards – NEW YORK TIMES

  • “We despise his authoritarianism, so we call for an authoritarian takeover of his office!”

The Times turned over its op-ed pages to a pair of former Obama administration wonks to come out and promote their solution to what is perceived as the overstepping of Donald Trump. It is fine to oppose the man on policy issues, but you tend to stray into the vast landscape of crackpot derangement when you go to the lengths of pushing to see a military coup take place, all to save democracy.

DNC PR Firm – CBS NEWS

  • You are so cute when you repeat DNC talking points.

The furor over Texas redistricting is beginning to finally fade, but leave it to Gavin Newsom to give the story CPR. Rather than fix the issue with rebuilding Los Angeles from the wildfires, he is intent on focusing on Texas, and there is CBS News to act as Democratic Party Mynah birds.

They support Newsom’s desire to redraw his state’s voting districts to such an extent that they have bought into this claim that it is a retaliatory move by Newsom. So, for this to work out, we have to buy into the concept that Texas just invented gerrymandering and that no Democratic states – including California - have voting maps drawn in tortured configurations, and have done so for years. Nope - Newsom is simply going to “counter” this never-before-seen effort by Texas.

Prose & Contradiction – MSNBC

  • Should you maybe get this issue squared away under your own roof, Symone, before rushing on the air with it?

Democrats and the press have been working themselves into knots attempting to dispute Donald Trump’s claims that Washington, D.C., is a crime-ridden sump hole. Their denials are countered by facts, testimony from within the district, and even a clutch of journalists willing to come out and admit the truth.

One gleaming example of this discord within the party was seen on MSNBC as hostess Symone Sanders showed that there is discord on this issue within her marriage.

As Symone was trying to sell the idea of a violent city as nothing more than “propaganda”, Matt Whitlock provided a shot of her husband, who is part of the D.C. Restaurant Association, stating at a public forum that one of their member businesses broke a lease to leave the city – due to the violence in the area.
