The Awesome Power of Just Doing Things

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.

The feminized, Ken-doll-abdomened West is getting a hard lesson in the amazing properties of Just Doing Things.

Somehow, we went from iron-hearted, iron-encased knights crushing pagan skulls with maces and became a civilization that prizes posing and proclaiming our virtue instead of pummeling our opponents into submission.

Being passive pushovers was presented not as what it is – a womanly style of dealing adopted by men who were too scared of conflict to engage in it – but as a moral imperative.

We let criminals and mutants at home dominate our society based on the bizarre notion that their very real perfidy was a result of our fake perfidy.

Third World barbarians push us around overseas and invade our lands, bringing the pathologies that made their homelands hellholes into our lands and thereby commencing the transformation of our nations into hellholes. Keep on this path and the West dies. This does not have to be.

We can say, “No.” No to conforming our lives to the whims of weirdos, losers, and mutations. No to living in fear of criminals. No to subsidizing our brutalization and replacement by ungrateful and malicious foreigners who want us enslaved or dead and who are imported by factions of our own society to buttress their grip on power. Hopefully, the rest of the West will take notes and frack its untapped reserves of testosterone before it is too late.

Donald Trump understands how to say “No.” He refuses to play along with a set of norms and guardrails that only we are supposed to observe and whose sole purpose is to prevent us from exercising our power to reject the decline our alleged betters have decreed we deserve. Remember, they can’t make us do anything. They have no guns and no upper body strength.

When in power, they have cops and soldiers, but not enough of them will remain loyal long enough to impose anything on us if it gets real (as described in my new novel, American Apocalypse: The Second American Civil War, out now!).

To win, they must make us choose to lose. Hence, their obsession with making us choose not to Just Do Things. As important as recognizing the power of “No” is how Trump understands the value of Just Doing Things.

He feels it in his gut, a consequence of coming of age in the dog-eat-dog world of New York City commercial real estate as opposed to the Ivory Towers where mere words are the preferred alternative to vulgar action.

He won the power to Just Do Things via an election; not surprisingly, the Ruling Class that demands strict adherence to the alleged norms of Our Democracy for its own benefit utterly ignores them in the case of Trump, doing everything it can to undermine his ability to govern, and thereby silence and disenfranchise the voters who put 47 in office.

The norms are not “the norms.” The norms are simply transitory rules that apply only to limit our ability to act; they never apply to the people purporting to impose them.

It’s Calvinball all the way down. By observing the norms they foist upon us, we give up the ability to Just Do Things. And that is how they keep power.

What terrorizes our elite is that Trump and his supporters see through the okey-doke. We’re hip to the scam. And Trump is acting accordingly, by acting.

He is Just Doing Things. He shut the border. We were told that you can’t do that; the best you could get was to join the GOP castrato chorus in enacting the “bipartisan immigration compromise” pushed by the pompous and ridiculous sap Jimmy “Sooner State Voters Can’t Primary This Dork Soon Enough” Lankford.

Among other things, this Vichy-like surrender bill would have banned stay in Mexico, transferred all immigration litigation to the totally- unbiased D.C. courts, and allowed 5,000 invaders in per day before anything could be done – and even then, a Dem president could choose not to act.

Trump doesn’t play that. He closed the border. He Just Did It. Then he started tossing out illegals caught inside the interior. Suddenly, we were flooded by hitherto unknown exceptions to the immigration laws passed under Our Democracy – it’s not much of a democracy if the ruling class ignores the law, is it? The compliant and complicit regime media obediently broadcast the true horror of Trump’s willful violation of such longstanding norms and principles as not arresting illegals if they are grandpas, if they are walking dogs, if they have a cousin in the Marines, or if they have successfully scoffed at our laws for 20 years and obtained American squatter’s rights.

Trump Just Did It. Trump leveraged American economic power with his tariffs.

There was a crescendo of howling internationally and here in America, including by many on the right who insisted on seeing tariffs as a purely academic exercise in economics utterly divorced from their national security, social, and diplomatic contexts. Under Trump, tariffs were not merely a crude economic lever but a way to address the disastrous deindustrialization of America, with all the attendant society costs from the impoverishment of the middle class to the tens of thousands of lost souls who fell victim to fentanyl.

Moreover, tariffs provided both a club to force other countries to trade on fair terms – the tariff imbroglio revealed just how utterly abused America was by unfair trade agreements – as well as to recoup some of our massive outlays for maintaining freedom of the seas and world peace in general. He Just Did It.

He banned DEI as well as addressed what had been the Issues That Shall Not Be Named – institutional anti-white racism and anti-Semitism.

He is forcing academia to change into something that serves America instead of undermining it as it feeds off our tax dollars. He banned mentally ill and/or perverted men from girls’ locker rooms and banned the mutilation of children by their evil parents as sacrifices to Trans-Baal, the pagan god of perversion.

He cauterized the open wound that was the Iranian nuclear scheme in a night. He ignored the climate change hoax and set us to drilling, baby, drill.

When some leftover Biden flunky had to issue her umpteenth correction to her own labor statistics, he canned her.

There’s a run on banker’s boxes as Deep State bureaucrats from the State Department to the FBI had to clean out their offices.

He strangled the left by derailing the USAID, NPR, and other federal subsidy gravy trains. He made the Euros pay their fair share of NATO.

He is investigating the loathsome Letitia James for investigating him, among other things.

He is investigating the Russiagate conspiracy, and I bet we see some indictments coming down the road (Sorry, not Obama, though, for a variety of reasons, including immunity and statute of limitations).

Trump Just Did It and made all these things happen. He was told these things were undoable.

We were told these things were undoable. In fact, they were not just undoable.

They were evil and bad and wrong and totally outside the norms. He Just Did It all anyway.

The rest of the West is behind. Once-Great Britain has failed to do what it had to do to save itself; now, as the butcher’s bill is coming due in the form of smoldering anger over sponging foreigners and their taste for molesting little English girls, the spooked ruling class has bulldozed the norms of free speech, freedom of the press, and free assembly. It is seeking to choke off the ability to protest; this will work until someone rises who will Just Do It and do what is necessary to pry the desiccated and desperate elite out of power.

In Israel, they have finally recognized that their choices are to be hated by international garbage leftists and lose the war against Hamas, or be hated by international garbage leftists and win the war against Hamas. They are finally doing what they should have done on October 8th and fighting to finish their enemy. If they had, they would have established the proverbial facts of the ground that make complaints and hand-wringing irrelevant. If you Just Do It, it’s done.

The enemy is defeated, and victory has a morality all its own. We will not be in power forever, so the Just Do Things principle applies with urgency. If we shut the border and deport (voluntarily or otherwise) millions of illegals, that establishes new favorable facts on the ground.

If we gerrymander to match the Democrats – notice how they never tell us what the gerrymander rule is, only that we are violating it without reference to their blue state gerrymanders? – then we will have done it and reap the benefits.

On an individual level, if you buy guns and ammunition – and you should buy guns and ammunition – you establish facts on the ground that make it exponentially more difficult to disarm you should some future regime come to power that ignores the Second Amendment (the Founders made guns #2 after free speech and freedom of religion for a reason).

Establish favorable facts on the ground and put W’s on the scoreboard by unleashing the power that comes when you Just Do It.

Winning means you win, and there’s no benefit to losing like gentlemen. If we concede anything to the left, if we give in, does that make us Not Literally Hitler, Not Systemically Racist, Not Bad People? No.

They are always going to hate us. Better they hate us for defeating them rather than hate us for being so weak that we choose to lose to them. We have the power. Just Do Things.
