You’d think it would be nearly impossible to come off as stupid when you have a staff of dozens, if not hundreds, of people with the express job of making sure you don’t. And it would be, were the person being protected not an actual moron, which brings us to "The View." I can only imagine how many people that show employs, with each "host" having a team of producers who provide them with briefings and research for the express purpose of preventing them from coming off as the uninformed idiots they are. Those people have thankless jobs, but they also suck at them. They have to, as that’s the only way to explain what ends up on the air every single day.
ABC has no standards, none. Not for decency, not for intelligence, not for liability or anything close to common sense. Whoopi Goldberg, the "lead" host, can barely intro a segment off the teleprompter and she’s the "wisdom" on the show.
How does ABC allow it to air? Should not heads roll, at least behind the scenes?
Honestly, they should clean house. Yes, the producers and researchers should be let go because they can’t give the on-air people relevant and factual information in a digestible form stupid people can easily repeat, but they should also get rid of the stupid people or not have hired them in the first place. ABC seems full of stupid people.
The most amazing part isn’t that the ladies of "The View" are stupid, it’s that they don’t seem to mind being seen as such by their audience.

If you regularly were briefed by staff on the issues of the day and were routinely wrong, and I mean really wrong, wouldn’t you get sick of looking like an idiot and fire those people? Whoopi and the gang haven’t fired anyone, making it seemingly impossible to fail to the point of being removed from your job at ABC.
But we know it is not impossible to be relieved of duty by ABC, they just fired Terry Moran for a biased anti-Republican, anti-Trump rant on Twitter. Calling Stephen Miller "a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater," that was the bridge finally too far for ABC and they let him go.
Anyone who’d watched ABC News over the previous almost 30 years was not surprised by the display of bias, only that ABC had a line that could be crossed. Who knew?
For some reason, that line, or any line or standards what so ever does not exist when it comes to The View, the ABC News product with the largest audience outside of their Ken Doll anchor and the nightly newscast. You’d think, if informing your audience accurately and truthfully were the goal of your organization, that festering boil on the mid-day lip of the network would be an issue. It is not.
In a discussion of what life in Iran is like for women and gays, Goldberg had to pretend it was 1950 and she lived in Mississippi at the height of Democrat Party control, meaning she’s a black woman being oppressed by the KKK/Democrats. She’s the victim, she’s oppressed – deploying the trope of "the talk" leftists think is unique to black families about police (truth be told, my parents had the same talk with me because it’s smart and they were good parents who recognized that I needed to be told how to behave when I was younger when interacting with a police officer).
After whining about things that never happened to her, I’m sure Whoopi went out to where her driver was waiting for her to take her back to her multimillion-dollar apartment in a doorman building with standing orders to call the police on anyone who looks like they might be waiting for Whoopi to walk through the front doors in the hope of getting an autograph.
Out of touch doesn’t begin to do justice to how far gone she is.
All ABC has to do is impose standards, even low ones, and things would have to improve on the show. But they aren’t interested improving the show or the quality of information conveyed, the truth does not serve the left-wing industrial complex so it does not matter. That’s the bottom line over at ABC, but the sad truth is ABC is far from alone – it’s the exact same at every network.
