Kilmar Abrego Garcia must feel lonely down in El Salvador these days. Once the vacation destination for every Democrat, his cell is now ignored like a Six Flags water park in January. He outlived his usefulness, Kilmar did, and the reality of his activities caught up with him. Democrats will defend almost anything from one of their own – think of everything people named Clinton and Biden have done – but they won’t defend someone who isn’t on their team, and Kilmar is not on their team; he was just useful for a minute, and that minute has passed.
His family is likely confused; they were the belle of the ball – everyone wanted to be seen with them, every Democrat wanted to give a speech about how wonderful and loving they were…till the police reports were released, anyway. Reality has a funny way of tarnishing an image.
And politicians are all about image. Chris Van Hollen has likely canceled his standing invite for the Abrego Garcia family to join him for summer vacation, Jamie Raskin has probably stopped thinking about taking on Kilmar as another son, and every Democrat will not oppose the idea of him dating their daughters if his wife leaves him after accusing him of beating her again.
Democrats are done with Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
They now have LaMonica.
Yes, LaMonica is more than just a stupid name, LaMonica McIver is a stupid person, too. And Democrats love her…this week.
The New Jersey Democrat is on video assaulting ICE agents because she wanted to bring the Mayor of Newark and a film crew into an ICE detention facility and wasn’t allowed to. LaMonica – more accurately “LaDumbass” – wanted to look “bad” on camera because otherwise you would have never heard of this irrelevant backbencher. Can’t call her a legislator, you have to actually write legislation for that, she’s just a body that votes however Nancy Pelosi tells her to vote – a less intelligent drone.
She’s now been charged with the crime she committed, because “no one is above the law.” Yet, weirdly, Democrats are all insisting that she is above the law, that to charge her with the crime even Stevie Wonder could see her committing is somehow a “threat to democracy.”
Democrats sure do scream “threat to democracy” an awful lot, don’t they? Deporting Kilmar was called that, arresting LaMonica is, Donald Trump breathing is, Democrats losing elections is. I imagine if their Cheerios got too soggy, they’d be screaming about how that is a threat to democracy.
They are the boy who cried wolf, then cried wolf again, then had “wolf” tattooed on his forehead.
“The Trump administration just charged me with crimes for engaging in congressional oversight. This is a first—and it’s a flashing red light for our democracy,” the chunky New Jersey Representative wrote in a fundraising email. It’s getting so a black woman can’t even elbow a cop in the back while trying to shove her way past his attempt to maintain order, IS THIS WHAT AMERICA HAS BECOME?
To dumb Democrats, it is.
“I went to an ICE facility in my district to conduct oversight because that is my job and my lawful right as a member of Congress,” she continued. “It’s clear: Trump and his administration don’t want transparency or oversight, and they want to punish any person who dares to speak up.”
These are the same people who wanted to put Donald Trump in prison for paying his lawyer back out of his own pocket rather than campaign funds for settling a nuanced lawsuit.
Chunky continues, “We must stand up together against an administration that weaponizes law enforcement to persecute its opponents before it's too late.”
She needs your money for her campaign to fight her criminal charges? And she wants you to split that donation with a left-wing group called 314 Action? Weird. If I were standing up for democracy by fighting bogus charges against me, I’d ask for help in funding the defense against those bogus charges. LaMonica has no interest in that. Money raised for legal defense has restrictions on it, campaign cash can be used to cover life expenses like meals, trips, entertainment, etc., as long as you claim they were somehow campaign related.
LaMonica represents morons who vote for her overwhelmingly, she doesn’t need campaign money for her campaign, she wants it to line her pockets and pay for her life so she doesn’t have to.
She’s taking advantage of the moment, she’s this week’s flavor. The attention on her will fade like it did with Kilmar, but you’ve got to make hay while the sun is shining, I guess. Democrats are gross.
