Less than two weeks into May, President Donald J. Trump clinched three wins. He secured a new trade deal and continued negotiations with China, issued an executive order reducing the cost of prescription drugs, and slapped the media again on the fake Qatar-747 story. The response from the president’s enemies has also been peculiar but not shocking.
The Democrats tried to claim we got rolled in the China talks in Switzerland over the weekend, which is why the markets exploded yesterday. Tariffs were reduced on both sides, leading to another period of talks that could yield greater gains for the United States.

Not to state the obvious, but Joe Biden could never achieve this because the Chinese wouldn’t have agreed—they’re not going to waste their time speaking with weak people. They essentially told that to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, where they admitted they weren’t abiding by bilateral trade agreements between Beijing and Washington because they knew Biden wouldn’t do anything.
Liberals brought economic ruin, chaos, and a world ablaze. Hit the mute button on whatever they say; the nation soundly rejected them in 2024. Based on new focus group data, the Democrats are still considered weak, and their anti-Trump screeds are simply not effective.
On the EO to reduce drug prices, I can’t believe the knee-jerk reaction from the left is to say that higher drug costs are fine essentially. It’s hilarious to watch the opposition bubble up only because a guy named Donald J. Trump is doing it. The lack of media coverage is also conspicuous. I wonder why that is:

Its because its funded by Big Pharma
Last, the media remains undefeated regarding breaking their face when stepping on rakes from their shoddy reporting. Trump is supposedly accepting a 747 from Qatar, which will be retrofitted and serve as the next Air Force One. Members of the legacy press confirmed it on Sunday. What was confirmed?

Boeing is so far behind schedule with the new Air Force One ordered years ago that Trump asked a Florida Defense contractor called L3Harris to overhaul a 747 once used by the Qatari government https://t.co/I7Hljtglul
This story was reported on by @jdawsey1 in the WSJ TEN DAYS AGO

Then today @jonkarl decided to make up a bunch of lies https://t.co/yMDHBHnXPD pic.twitter.com/zIl9cUlCPr
They’re still grade-A morons who couldn’t report on the most mundane detail about this White House accurately. The real story is that Boeing can’t make the aircraft; that’s a problem. Also, this is an old story that was put through the Trump hater machine at these newsrooms and perverted to all hell to create another laughable bit of fake news that was debunked in less than a day. The real story: Trump asked defense contractor L3Harris to overhaul a 747 once used by the Qatari government.

So, it's not a bad start to May.
It saves taxpayers $400 million.
