History is a monolith, folks, a huge, gargantuan juggernaut that moves very slowly. There is the occasional “revolution,” but even revolutions take time to play themselves out to determine the final result. Things just don’t happen quickly; there is too much, especially, too many people, that have to be moved, and people creep, they don’t run. Even God doesn’t work fast. He promised Abraham, c. 2,000 B.C., to give his descendants the land of Canaan, but it was over 500 years later before that promise was fulfilled. Changing history takes time.
We humans tend to be impatient, wanting fast cars, fast food, and fast women, but the world rarely works that way, and we are seeing that in America right now.
When I say, “the Democratic Party might save America yet,” I mean “by their own stupidity.” They have demonstrated that they have learned absolutely nothing from the 2024 election, and that might end up being the salvation of the country—if they continue along that line, and with talk of AOC and Jasmine Crockett being their future “leadership,” things do indeed look somewhat brighter for the nation. The Democrats are apparently intending not to learn anything, but to become even more stupid.
I fully confess that I was one of those people, a year and a half ago, even a year ago, who believed that Donald Trump had very little chance of ever becoming President again. I don’t think I was alone in that belief. But I didn’t reckon on the Democratic Party being so inconceivably stupid as to select Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to head their national ticket. Trump won, not because he was adored by the majority of American people, but because there were enough intelligent souls left in the country who had the sense to realize that four more years of a Joe Biden clone could, and probably, would destroy America. The people were appalled at the utter buffoonery of the Democrats. So, they sent Mr. Trump (who DID run an excellent campaign) back to Washington. A reprieve for freedom.
And since then, it appears the Democrats have learned nothing from their defeat. They continue doing unbelievably stupid things that turn off masses of American people. Just a few examples:
1. Going to El Salvador to try to bring back to America an illegal alien thug who had been rightfully sent home. The dumb Democrats are calling him a “Maryland man.” Most American people know that Kilmar Garcia is a gang member, a violent and evil man, and they don’t want him in our country, where he never belonged in the first place. But there’s the Democratic Party, and their media henchmen, trying to save Kilmar’s hide and get him back to the U.S. Astonishing stupidity.
2. DOGE. Most Americans (all intelligent ones) know that government waste, fraud, and abuse need to be eliminated; it is their money that is being misused. So, decent, sensible Americans are applauding what Elon Musk and DOGE are trying to do. Not the Democrats. “Let’s have more waste, fraud, and abuse” is the message the American people are hearing from Democrats. And that won’t sell.
3. Transgenderism and men in women’s sports. Most Americans are willing to tolerate a certain amount of stupidity, diversity, and even wickedness. But most Americans also realize that men are men and women are women, and that men have no right competing in women’s sports. Rational Americans also realize that, while diversity is a nice goal, certain positions of responsibility DO require some measure of merit and ability, and that you don’t put freaks, men in dresses and lipstick, into those position just because they ARE freaks. And you don’t butcher children for the sake of sexual perverts. Joe Biden and the Democrats allowed all of that, and they still support it. Americans know it’s stupid and wrong. All Americans, of course, except Democrats. They keep pushing these things that cost them the Presidency and both houses of Congress. That is not the height of intelligent behavior.
As I recently noted in a couple of columns, every society has a certain level of bottom-feeding, riffraff trash, wicked people and human garbage. No society totally avoids such people. And if, in that society, such human riffraff ever becomes the majority, or even too large, that nation is finished. If America reaches that point, it’s over, time to move to Thailand.
And thanks to the media, the horrid educations system the Left has created, and the Democratic Party, 75 million people voted for Kamala Harris. Seventy-five million people. But, thankfully, Trump won. The cancer hasn’t overrun the entire body yet. And if the Democratic Party continues to do the incredibly stupid things it has been and is doing, if it refuses to learn, it will continue to help the country elect people like Donald Trump, and just might save the nation.
But the battle is far from over. Remember, history is a marathon, not a sprint. Don’t forget the 75 million people who voted for Kamala Harris. We have historically called the Republican Party the “Stupid Party” because of their propensity to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and it still has many, many Establishment, Deep State members who are desperately trying to help the Democrats turn America into an overflowing toilet bowl. The media, the education system, are still around pumping out mountains of garbage. No, we haven’t won anything yet.
But thankfully, there still remain some decent, intelligent Americans, and they are finally saying “enough!” Whether they will exist in sufficient numbers in the future remains to be seen, but right now the Democrats, by being so amazingly stupid (“intelligent” and “Democrat” are contradiction of terms, and “evil” and Democrat” are synonyms) are certainly giving hope to those of us who still love America.
Keep it up, Democrats. You might save the country you despise yet.
