Anyone want to tell Mr. Karl there is another legal document that is even older?
The press is in such reactionary opposition to anything President Trump does, promotes, or enacts that they cannot sit back and ponder what they end up supporting. They have taken the side against stopping wasteful government spending, are upset about peace coming to Ukraine, support having males invade female sports, and now have found a way to say four weeks of gas prices dropping could be a bad sign.
Add to this the rabid outrage seen that the Trump administration has flown out violent illegal immigrant gang members to an El Salvador prison. The press is so busy wailing that a judge said “No” to the removals and even commanded to turn the airplane around that was in the air that they do not grasp that they are arguing to have violent killers and rapists remain in this country.

Jonathan Karl is heard whining about this to George Stephanopoulos, explaining that it should not have taken place because the particular immigration law Trump relied upon to justify the deportations is really old. He does not explain how this makes the law invalid or unable to be used, of course. Also, he does not explain how it is that the Constitution is even older than this law, yet it remains a valid document.

DNC PR Firm – ABC NEWS
Now, if the people had to be rescued from that country, what does that tell us?
In the latest USAID sympathy story, ABC News delivers a sorrowful tale of one worker and his family who had to be rescued from the Congo, and came back to the states to learn he was “under attack” from Elon Musk. In the attempt at generating sympathy, the network fails to grasp a very pertinent detail in their report.
This worker had to flee as protests and riots swept through the entire country, which essentially means that whatever efforts were undertaken by USAID were a complete failure, so cutting that funding sure sounds like a valid move.
A USAID staffer and his family had to be evacuated to safety from the Congo — only to return home to find Elon Musk leading the dismantling of the agency. https://t.co/x3CqYJ377L

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – ABC NEWS
The promise of speculative threats continues.
One thing we see with these reports about the slashing of government agencies and jobs is a similarity to reports on the climate global environmental changing warmth crisis; that is, there is only bad news to be found. Another aspect of these reports is almost all of the doom that is delivered is in the form of possible adverse effects.
Just like we see with most of the climate models, we get served regular doses of “If/could/possibly/threatens” type of reporting. This time it is about jobs cut at some of the country’s hydropower facilities, which means there could be drops in energy generated, possibly leading to less water delivered to farms, and might even threaten us with floods!
When these problems do not arise we can be assured we will be seeing energetic reports about what has not transpired.
Trump administration workforce cuts at federal agencies overseeing U.S. dams are threatening their ability to provide reliable electricity, supply farmers with water and protect communities from floods, employees and industry experts warn. https://t.co/2kMiD4cfzY

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives 2.0 – ABC NEWS
The global crisis is so bad it has an effect beyond the globe!
Speaking of the climate global environmental changing warmth crisis, ABC News informs us how that nefarious problem will even start affecting satellites in space. "HOW?!," you are surely asking; well, it is rather obvious.
Despite the warming trend, the atmosphere will be cooling (yes, we know…) and this means that it will be shrinking, which means there will be less of it to draw in the floating space debris, and this orbiting refuse poses an operational threat to satellites.
Climate change could threaten the future use of satellites and significantly reduce the number of spacecraft that can safety orbit Earth, according to new research. https://t.co/NoJHcwx3eh

Low-Octane Gaslighting – THE DAILY BEAST
Look, technically it was an accurate report, so there should be no problem.
In a desperate bid for hate clicks about the president, The Daily Beast issues a story where President Trump tried to coax Rep. Anna Paulina Luna into his bed and asked her not to tell Melania about it and to keep it a secret. It is a scathing story…that is until the actual facts come to light.
The offer to Rep. Luna was made on Trump’s private jet. He did so because she was in the late stages of her pregnancy and might need to lie down. Further, Luna’s husband was with them as Trump made this offer to have her made more comfortable.
But despite his being a gracious host at the time, the outlet attempts to make then-candidate Trump out to be a rapacious scoundrel.
I seldom respond to nasty headlines because I don’t like giving trash credibility, however, being that there is allegedly a book coming out with me named and attacking @POTUS , his marriage, our first lady, and frankly implying something distasteful about me, I am responding.… https://t.co/D1QyG0eYde

Legalized Press-titution – POLITICO
Never learning a lesson seems to be a feature, not a bug.
With the collapse of the latest ceasefire agreement between Israel and the terror group Hamas, Politico saw fit to fall back on the failed process of reporting on the conflict – that is, taking the word of Hamas mouthpieces as gospel. Israel initiated a new round of aerial attacks on Hamas targets, and Politico is there to report on the casualty figures, a nice round number of 200 fatalities, delivered by the Gaza Ministry of Health, a Hamas mouthpiece. The report comes complete with a handy photograph of a man wailing while holding a dead child.
This is the same sourcing that gives us regular posed photos of this nature, as well as the past entirely debunked reports on the hospital bombing that “killed 500,” a church bombing that “killed” hundreds, the supposed potter’s field behind a Gaza hospital, and other frauds of reports.
It was bad enough that a board member of Politico’s parent company, Axel Springer, called out the level of journalism on display.
I am on the board of Axel Springer that owns Político. I consider this article one sided Hamas support. It fails to mention that the airstrikes were aimed at eliminating top Hamas military and thar Israel was successful at doing so. It also quotes casualty figures given by Hamas… https://t.co/TDWcfCaHYQ
