The left will die on the Hill to save radical Islamists. It probably started as something done to antagonize conservatives post-9/11, but it’s part of their agenda now. You’ll find liberal academics horrified over what they perceive as islamophobia but keep their mouths shut when Jewish people face death threats, targeted harassment, and other antisemitic tropes. Hating Jewish people is now one of the prerequisites for becoming a full-fledged member of the far left. Like a tumor, it’s infected the host to the point where yelling vicious hate at Jews is not just acceptable; it’s seen as an act of resistance against the supposed Israeli occupation of “Palestine.”
The eruption of antisemitic protests, the displaying of Swastikas, the harassment of businesses supposedly owned by Jews, and the calls for genocide show there is much to fear from this neo-jihadist sect we have let operate freely for too long in this country.
Simply put, it’s not a phobia if there is a threat, and we do face a terror threat. We have faced it long before Hamas terrorists invaded southern Israel and butchered 1,200 innocent Israeli citizens. Jihadists have exploited the porous southern border for years, and it doesn’t help that Joe Biden allowed hordes of unvetted Afghans to relocate to the United States. Terror groups prowl social media. They see the legions of pro-terrorist scum on campus and in our cities, providing an ample pool of recruits. If Anwar al-Awlaki could radicalize Nidal Hassan, a then-major in the US Army, to commit the Fort Hood attack in 2009, they could reach anyone.
And this isn’t about Islam versus Christianity; no one is seeking the re-establishment of the Crusader States. There’s a reason why no Arab country wants to resettle hordes of Palestinian refugees within their borders. One word: terrorism. It’s why Egypt has deployed tanks near its border with the Gaza Strip as Israeli forces engage Hamas terrorists. Israel will destroy Hamas, but it has left Gaza in ruins. There are nearly two million Palestinians who will be displaced, and no Arab nation wants anything to do with these people.
For all the condemnation bluster directed at Israel from the Arab League, these nations have reportedly been telling Israel that they’re supportive of their war against Hamas and that they shouldn’t stop military operations until the terror group has been annihilated. At the same time, they also want no part in any administrative effort regarding the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. No Western nation wants to do it, even the United Nations, which arguably has been co-opted by pro-Hamas elements—just read what the secretary general has said about this war—isn’t jumping in to help ordinary Gazans.
Since their war with the late King Hussein of Jordan in the 1970s, a conflict they lost, the Palestinians have brought trouble wherever they nestle.
Maybe we need to start saying radical islamophobia because Hamas terrorists murdered Arab Israelis on October 7 for aiding the infidels. Muslims who want to live in peace are also targets of radical Islamic terrorism. Anyone who stands against killing infidels and codifying a brutal and illiberal set of societal rules based on Sharia law gets beheaded. Is it unjustified to be fearful of this?
It's why it’s now almost comical when liberals get uber-huffy about islamophobia. For a side that touts women’s rights and liberation incessantly, they do know the radicals of this religion would gladly stone women to death for leaving their homes unaccompanied. It makes no sense for the left to defend this insane sect, but when do liberals ever think—they’re actively working to erase womanhood to accommodate biological males who believe they are women? Need I say more?

These radical Islamists scare the hell out of me, and given how we’ve known Hamas has operated in the United States for decades, perhaps it’s time we raid their properties, as the Germans did last month, to kneecap whatever they have cooking here. An FBI raid of the CAIR offices wouldn’t be a bad idea either. As the late Christopher Hitchens noted about this fight, we're fighting fascism with an Islamic face.
