South Carolina Must Send Sen. Lindsey Graham Back to Washington in 2026

The Lindsey Graham I’ve come to know is a fierce advocate for the innocent and of human rights. His intellect, intuitiveness, and desire for justice show again and again. His record of standing for the unborn is clear and unwavering. South Carolina must return him to the U.S. Senate in 2026.

I’ve known a lot of officeholders and aspiring candidates in my time at the helm of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an organization dedicated to electing pro-life leaders. Some of them not only stand out for their boldness in the cause of protecting unborn babies and their mothers – they’ve become good friends to me, tried and true through many battles. Senator Graham is just such a person and I’m honored to support his re-election. None has been a stronger advocate for life, especially at historic turning points like the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Senator Graham is a longtime champion of legislation to protect unborn babies from brutal late-term abortions when there is compelling scientific evidence they feel pain. Americans overwhelmingly agree with limits on abortion, especially when they learn how abortions take place when unborn babies have fingers and toes, suck their thumb, make faces and can feel excruciating pain. South Carolina, a deeply pro-life state, protects babies when their heartbeat is detected. Graham has a way of articulating the human dignity of the child in the womb that puts that fact at the center of the debate, where it should be, with compassion, conviction and scientific facts. This is a long battle, but given the opportunity to continue in the Senate, I know his leadership and determination will pay off.

And it’s important to remember how different a conversation this would be were it not for the landmark Dobbs decision that allows states to enact laws protecting unborn children – decades of work made reality with three of President Trump’s Supreme Court justices confirmed. Senator Graham’s galvanizing role, making clear the stakes of allowing good men and women – faithful to the Constitution – to be intimidated from seeking such lofty positions, was indispensable and should never be forgotten. Indeed, he led the way in confirming more than 200 of President Trump’s federal judges to the bench.

These decades of leadership are critical as South Carolinians’ pro-life values come increasingly under attack from the radical abortion lobby. At this moment, the multi-billion-dollar abortion business Planned Parenthood, along with the ACLU, is arguing to the Supreme Court that they are entitled to taxpayers’ hard-earned dollars after Gov. Henry McMaster – who was re-elected by almost 18 points – moved to shut the spigot off. They’ve engaged in relentless lawfare to overturn or weaken the state’s heartbeat law, which protects an estimated 4,800 babies a year. And while American voters rejected the vocally pro-abortion agenda of Kamala Harris at the national level, these radicals still have a plan to push deceptive ballot measures in pro-life states around the country to strip all their commonsense laws off the books – even parental consent for minors – and block their elected legislatures from doing anything about it.

Sen. Graham is fighting back. He is standing with the people of South Carolina to tell the Supreme Court, no, abortion businesses that end hundreds of thousands of lives a year and provide shoddy, dangerous “care” for women don’t deserve our tax dollars. And while some members of the Senate have shamefully chosen to demonize pregnancy centers that serve tens of thousands of South Carolinians each year, providing millions of dollars worth of medical services and essential parenting supplies, Graham knows these neighbors of ours heroically give of themselves to help moms in their time of need. Together we recently visited one such center, Carolina Pregnancy Center in Spartanburg, which offers mothers free ultrasounds, confidential pregnancy testing, mentorship and parenting skills classes to empower them to choose life and care for their little ones, no matter their financial or personal circumstances – so no woman ever has to feel pushed into abortion as her only option.

Senator Graham’s pro-life voice in Washington is irreplaceable. When a person’s character and the stakes are this clear, there’s no reason to hesitate. He has my full confidence and that of President Trump. I urge all South Carolina voters to join me in supporting him for U.S. Senate once again.
