Welcome back to another edition of "Stream of Kurtiousness!" We're less than two weeks out from Election Day, and I'm still more optimistic than most people about how the results will play out. It seems pollsters are starting to hedge toward the middle so they don't burn their reputations by next Tuesday. I believe that Republicans are underrepresented in polls because many of us are not interested in responding to pollsters. Counting the votes polled is the scientific part of polling, but forecasting how the rest of the state will vote is an art. If Republicans outperform the poll average by three points, we will win both the House and the Senate. Although I don't agree, I know a smart person who believes Republicans can actually gain two Senate seats. Time will tell, but don't believe the polls. Get out there and vote!
