Welcome back to the "Stream of Kurtiousness!" I'm getting tired of paying for people who don't work, which is why I'm concerned about a new proposal by JD Vance. I'm not going to repudiate or trash him, as that doesn't benefit anyone, but we can discuss policy disagreements like adults. JD Vance is supposedly advocating to redirect subsidies currently directed to child care to stay-at-home parents. I'm not sure how involved the VP is in this proposal, since I don't believe everything the media says, but if he wants to send thousands of dollars to parents who aren't working, I'm not for it. Conservatives need populist elements on the cultural side, but we shouldn't advocate giving away free money!
