"America is back."

These joyous words spoke to the hearts of America's Moms as the newly elected President Trump began his first address to the nation this past week.

We jumped to our feet with thunderous applause fueled by the relief that four years of gang members, terrorists, and rapists waltzing across our open borders; DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) dominating nearly every aspect of government, schools, and private businesses; and men hurting women in sports competitions and bathrooms was over. What followed was a recounting of all that had been accomplished to restore our country in six weeks and the hope of more to come.

In six short weeks, President Trump has transformed our fear and desolation into confidence and national pride. Moms for America feel a renewed sense of confidence as the Trump administration has appointed one Patriot after another to lead our families into the future.

Included in this speech were the powerful stories of the invited guests in the gallery above. Stories born of tragedy, yet a display of the strength given by God for the human spirit to carry on. These stories included:

  • D.J. Daniels, a 13-year-old with terminal brain cancer who has endured multiple brain surgeries. He was presented with an honorary badge from the FBI and sworn in as a member of the Secret Service to fulfill his dream of becoming a law enforcement officer.
  • Jason Hartley, a high school senior and a young man of great achievement who was surprised with his acceptance to West Point, the fulfillment of his dream to follow in his late Father's courageous footsteps.
  • Marc Fogel, the hostage released recently from Russia after three and a half years, who sat with his 95-year-old mother at his side. President Trump had promised her that he would bring her son home to her.
  • Alexis Nungaray, the mother of twelve-year-old Jocelyn, who was tortured, raped, and murdered by two illegals. President Trump announced that he had named a nature sanctuary park in Texas in Jocelyn's name to honor and memorialize her. A tearful mother mouthed the words "thank you" to President Trump from the gallery.
  • Stephanie Diller, widow of Jonathan Diller, the NYPD officer killed by illegals in the line of duty.
  • Payton McNabb, a volleyball player injured by a male "transgender" opponent on the court. This concussion ended her competitive athletic career.

These courageous guests received an outpouring of support and love from most of those in the chamber, many of whom had eyes filled with tears uniting their own compassion with the suffering hearts that sat above them. But sadly, the Democrats chose to not participate, proving that hatred of Donald Trump is their religion, far more important to them than any constituent or any triumph over human tragedy.

As Mothers, we work hard to teach our growing children the difference between right and wrong. We try our best to help form their hearts and souls so that when the time comes for them to face difficult situations, they will make good decisions and behave with respect for God, family, country, rules, and traditions. We tell them that this is sometimes very difficult. When they act out of line as children, we lovingly discipline them and teach them the life lessons that will help them learn and grow from their mistakes.

This is why it was so painful to watch the bizarre and shameful behavior of the elected Democrats during President Trump's address to the nation. These men and women should be role models to our children regardless of their political affiliation, yet they shamed the dignity of their office and displayed their disdain for America.

America watched in disgust as half the Congress refused to stand to applaud a child with terminal cancer. Or a mother who lost her child to murder.

There are no words.

A CBS news poll conducted the day after the speech reveals that 76% of viewers had a favorable opinion of President Trump’s speech. We are so proud of our President and First Lady as they lead our beloved country out of a very wounded four years under Biden.

Our children are watching. Words and actions matter. Our prayers continue for the full restoration of our resilient country.

America is back, indeed!
