He’s the only President to do so in the modern era but for the second year in a row the President of the United States will refuse an invitation to allow the nation to hear from him on Super Bowl Sunday.
And the people rejoiced.
In what is reminiscent of the British Royal addresses that accompany major events in the UK, the annual presidential interview is usually timely. In election years it is also 30 minutes of air time to the biggest audience gathered annually around the nation’s biggest event.
Long time pollster and political operative James Carville says this a very bad “sign” that the White House pulled out.
Former Clinton advisor Paul Begala says that the current Biden behavior has made him start sleeping like a baby every night. He wakes up each night, wets the bed, and starts crying.
Begala may have been kidding around but has anyone checked the size of the weekly delivery of Depends the first couple has being delivered to the White House residence?
Reminder Carville and Begala are supporters that are on the President’s partisan side. They voted for him and they want him to be re-elected.
But their concerns are valid.
Can someone? Anyone? Anyone at all answer me a simple question: If the leader of the free world is too feeble to be held accountable for his mishandling of classified documents, how is he not too feeble to man the nuclear codes?
When asked follow-up questions after the special council’s report was made public, he grew agitated, and incoherent in his belligerent response.
Those are questions that are not going to go away anytime soon. The White House press corps, after largely being asleep for much of the last three years, have decided to start asking questions that matter.

And they should.
You don’t get it both ways Mr. Biden. You can’t be the most successful, winningest, all time smartest smart guy in the universe, and too feeble to answer a few questions at the same time.
Such a person does not exist.
Today America will gather to observe a football tradition, one that has always included a President being asked direct questions.
Presidents should be required to answer such questions. After all they work for we the American people.
This group in the White House don’t believe that though. They believe they work for the people pulling the strings. The unseen puppet masters that have used the empty suit called Joe Biden for almost the entirety of his three years in office.
Now there’s just no hiding it. There’s no hiding that the man is diminished. There’s no hiding his poor memory. There’s no hiding his cognizant dysfunction. There’s now no hiding a report that should cause him to be in as much equal legal jeopardy or more than Trump with the Mar A Lago case. There’s no hiding the fact that they are blatantly not going to because he feeble idiot that doesn’t know what day it is much of the time.
And since there’s no hiding any of that…
Now…
They must hide him.
