In the waning days of the failed Biden administration, the current president has decided to forgo all norms and test the constitutional limits of his pardon power.

It started when President Joe Biden issued a broad and sweeping pardon of his son, Hunter Biden. The get-out-of-jail-free card came just days before Hunter was set to be sentenced for tax evasion and also wiped away a number of felony gun charges normal Americans usually serve hard time for.

The details of Hunter's deal from "The Big Guy" were astonishing. After all, Biden granted Hunter immunity from all crimes he may have committed between 2014 and 2024, coincidentally covering the same time the youngest Biden son was working overtime to make the Biden Crime Family rich with a series of shady foreign business deals — all while failing to register as a foreign agent as required by law.

Now, Biden reportedly plans to use his pardon power to bail out another criminal from accountability.

"Multiple people familiar with the ongoing discussions tell CBS News the president has debated with senior White House aides the possibility of issuing the preemptive pardons," CBS News reports. "Among those who could be eligible for preemptive legal relief include well-known names at the center of many of the most rancorous moments of the first Trump administration, many of whom remain the subject of his public ire. The list includes Dr. Anthony Fauci, who helped coordinate the nation's COVID-19 response and later served as Mr. Biden's top science adviser."

Why does Fauci, "The Science," need a pardon? For a number of reasons.

Biden and his advisors argue it's to get ahead of a Trump retribution tour, led by FBI director nominee Kash Patel. This, of course, is hogwash. Trump has long said he isn’t interested in retribution and that the success of the country would serve as "revenge." He exhibited this after the 2016 race, refusing to criminally pursue Hillary Clinton with his Department of Justice — despite ample reason to do so.

Fauci needs a pardon because he's a criminal and his list of offenses is long.

First, Fauci sent millions of American tax dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Technology through grants given to EcoHealth. The money was used to conduct dangerous and illegal gain-of-function experiments, which led to the COVID-19 pandemic. After escaping from the lab, the virus killed millions, destroyed the global economy and shattered countless lives.

"Four years after the onset of the worst pandemic in 100 years, the weight of the evidence increasingly supports the lab leak hypothesis. Since the Select Subcommittee commenced its work in February 2023, more and more senior intelligence officials, politicians, science editors, and scientists increasingly have endorsed the hypothesis that COVID-191 emerged as the result of a laboratory or research related accident," the final report from the House Select Committee on the COVID-19 pandemic states. "NIH's procedures for funding and overseeing potentially dangerous research are deficient, unreliable, and pose a serious threat to both public health and national security. Further, NIH fostered an environment that promoted evading federal record keeping laws."

Then, when Fauci was asked by lawmakers on Capitol Hill about the grants and funding of dangerous experiments, he repeatedly lied. We know this because the National Institutes of Health eventually admitted that the grants Fauci gave out did, in fact, go to gain-of-function research in Wuhan.

"Fauci provably violated federal policies on gain-of-function and enhanced potential pandemic pathogen research, provably committed conspiracy to defraud and perjury, and probably is culpable for pandemic that killed 20+ million and cost $25+ trillion," Rutgers Professor of Chemistry Richard Ebright, who has followed Fauci closely, points out.

Fauci advocated for destructive lockdowns that shattered the educations of children, inflicted a mental health crisis on American teenagers, advocated for Americans to be fired for refusing a vaccine that caused harm and didn't work, wrecked the economy and much more.

Fauci committed crimes against humanity – for which Biden will make sure he pays no price.
