Voter Turnout and Ballot Completion Is Everything

Now is the time we have waited for since the horrid executive orders, plans, and policies of the Biden/Harris administration, at the direction of their puppet masters, kicked into high gear nearly 46 months ago.

As political observers have stated, turnout is vital. Even with more than 66 million voters already having cast their ballots, those who show up at the polls on Election Day are likely going to be the deciding factor in whether or not we save America. Completing ballots, all the way to the bottom of the second page, is vital to secure the elected representatives that we need at all levels of government.

Down-Ballot Voting Matters

Astoundingly, in my state of North Carolina, in the 2020 election nearly 200,000 registered Republicans did not complete their ballot whether in person or via absentee voting. This is no minor issue.

If these Republicans had completed their ballots all the way to the bottom, North Carolina would have elected a republican governor instead of the one we’ve been stuck with, Roy Cooper.

North Carolina also would have elected a Republican attorney general, state auditor, and secretary of state. Had these four positions been won by Republicans, North Carolina would have had a different experience during the lockdowns of 2020, the disposition of school children, and how retail establishments could operate, among so many other developments since then.

Fear of Making an Error

Unfortunately, this phenomenon is not restricted to North Carolina. On both sides of the aisle throughout the nation, many voters hastily depart after checking only a handful of key positions at the top. Some voters check out before they get to the next page, and some drop off with just two or three contests to go.

2024 ELECTION

Why does this happen? Not so much because people are in a rush or that they forget to complete the ballot. Many are afraid of making the wrong decision; they cannot recall who to vote for when it comes to, say, judges or others on the ballot whose political affiliation might not be listed. Ironically, voter guides abound and volunteers offer them, mere yards away from the polls.

Some voters think that down ballot votes simply don't matter. Entirely untrue! Consider the decades-long plight of our major cities run by Democrats. Without winning at the state level, we leave states vulnerable. Depending on what type of Democrat takes office, be they moderate or totally woke, the citizens of such states – the small business owners, the students, etc., counting on effective leadership – are let down.

Non-Voters Who Could Vote

Amazingly, 25 million Evangelicals who lean right did not vote in the 2020 election. If they had, Donald Trump would have enjoyed a cheat-proof margin. The GOP would have easily taken the Senate and would have had a commanding majority in the House. Instead, well, you know what happened.

Why do millions stay away? They certainly are aware of voting procedures and most have an interest in the affairs of the nation. If they object to some items in the GOP platform is that reason enough to stay home and give Democrats a boost that might lead to the defeat of Republicans?

Perfect candidates and ideal platforms do not exist. Meanwhile, a non-vote for our side rewards the other side. Evangelicals have to understand that we are never going to have a perfect set of candidates and an ideal set of policies, but if we come close enough to the right policies, Evangelical or not, that is sufficient to vote accordingly.

To those who stay home, rather than cast the crucial votes that would put our side over the top, have you read the platforms of the Democrat National Committee? Have you visited the websites of Kamala Harris and seen the Marxism advocated? Are you aware of the history of Tim Walz, his incessant lies, his Maoist tendencies, and what he would do to America if he attained high office?

At this point in our history, 248 years after the Declaration of Independence and given what has transpired in politics, education, economics, foreign relations, border security, and national sovereignty, no valid excuse exists for those who do not complete their ballots and ensure that Republicans have the best chance of winning.

And to be clear: there is absolutely no excuse for those who don't vote at all.
