Obama Doesn’t Like Young People

Remember Kanye West’s decree that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”?

Guess what: Barack Obama doesn’t care about young people.

“But Jason,” you say, “I thought young people elected Obama by voting 66 percent for him, and only 34 percent voting for Gramps (a.k.a. John McCain).”

Yes, that’s right. Obama promised young people that government unicorns would fly above their apartments dropping free iPods from the sky while delivering vanilla-scented welfare checks in recycled envelopes so that younger voters would never have to work another day in their coddled lives.

But clearly that didn’t happen. In fact, when you assess the fallout of what Obama’s constant swiping of the governmental credit card will mean economically for voters under the age of 30, one can only conclude that Barack Obama doesn’t like young people.

That’s why conservatives need to heed the call of Rahm “The Ballerina” Emanuel (no seriously, the dude was a ballerina) and remember Rahmbo’s admonition that one must “never let a crisis go to waste.”

Obama’s disastrous economic policies are creating a platinum opportunity for conservatives to awaken Obama Zombies from their intellectual slumber. Jobs are scarce. Economic opportunity is lagging. Overall, youth unemployment is the worst since World War II, way above 20 percent. We will not grow up with the same prosperity our parents did; we are a generation shackled by Obama-driven spending sprees.

I know Obama Zombies aren’t too fond of those math-number thingies, but even they must wake up to the fact that Obama’s collectivist schemes are a torpedo aimed at the interests of Generation Y voters. Obama didn’t give us change, he gave us more of the same. Obama framed his economic agenda as a break from the “failed policies of the Bush administration,” but all the Messiah has done is double down on all of Bush’s reckless borrowing, spending, and bailouts.

Take our federal deficit and debt. Even using the Obama administration’s bogus fiscal projections, Obama expected a ten-year budget deficit of approximately $9 trillion, which means that Obama will spend around $1 trillion more than he takes in every year. As of 2009, the national debt stood at $12 trillion and will likely double to $24 trillion by 2019.

Let me put that number in perspective: Kobe Bryant is paid around $25 million a year by the Los Angeles Lakers. He would have to play 990,000 seasons in order to break even with our projected national debt!

This is absolute criminal fiscal insanity.

Obama is on pace to pile up more debt than any other president in our nation’s history combined.

There’s a name for this: it’s called generational theft.

Same goes for health care. According to the latest USA Today/Gallup Poll, nearly two-thirds of Americans say the health care monstrosity costs too much and expands the government’s role in health care too far. But the real nightmare will be the fiscal fallout for the very Obama Zombies who elected Dear Leader.

And now that Obamacare has passed, the Associated Press conducted an analysis of what Obamacare would mean for young people. Shocker of all shockers: the AP now finds that young people can expect premiums to rise as much as 17 percent on average.

Indeed, as the Washington Post has reported, young adults are likely to pay a huge chunk of Obamacare’s costs. The Oliver Wyman consulting firm conducted a study that revealed that premiums for individuals will jump by $1,576 and families will see their premiums soar by $3,341.

So, not only does Obama destroy your job prospects and strangle your child and grandchildren and your children’s grandchildren with insane debt that can’t be repaid, he then doubles down on lunacy and jacks up your health care premiums to fuel his socialist takeover of health care.

So come 2010 and 2012, remember: Barack Obama doesn’t like young people.
