The ‘First String’ Is Back in the Game

Anyone who follows sports knows that oftentimes during a game the coach will take the first string, the best players out of the game in order to give them a break.  Coach will then put in the second stringers for a few plays.  It serves two purposes, allowing the first string to get a bit of a break, and it also gives some experience and playing time for the scrubs, the bench warmers.  Those players who just aren’t quite good enough.

For eight years under Barack Obama, and another four years under Joe Biden, the Second Stringers were put in.  Unfortunately for America, they started and were left in the game, and our nation suffered as a result.  Our enemies ‘ran up the score’ on America, against a team that simply wasn’t very good.

Does anyone recall when one of our naval vessels in the Arabian Gulf experienced a mechanical failure and accidentally drifted into Iranian territorial waters?  The Iranians conducted a hostile boarding at sea of our vessel under gunpoint, and forced our sailors to their knees with hands clasped behind their heads in a position of surrender.

Eventually they were released by the Iranians, and the then Secretary of State John Kerry subsequently actually thanked the Iranians for their “help” and “humane treatment of our sailors”.  It was an embarrassing moment for America, and it showed the world that indeed the ‘second stringers’ were in the game for our side.   Many of our allies simply looked down and almost imperceptibly shook their heads.

When Joe Biden surrendered to the Taliban in Afghanistan it became far more than just an embarrassment, it cost the lives of thirteen American service members.  Not one of Biden’s second stringers like then Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin or CJCOS Mark Milley objected.  They meekly went along with Biden’s game plan.  Of course Joe Biden was present when our servicemembers’ bodies were returned to the United States.  He stood there stoically while checking his wristwatch to see how long this thing was going to last.

With the election of President Donald Trump, the First String was obviously put back in for America as was evidenced by last weekend’s operation Midnight Hammer, which destroyed the Iranian nuclear weapons programs in one fell swoop, without a single shot being fired at our aircraft as they flew around inside Iranian airspace unmolested, and undetected.

Kudos are certainly in order for all of the American military personnel involved.  As well as for our commander in chief who showed the world that the Obama-Biden second stringers are no longer in the game.  (Actually, the Trump administration’s second and third stringers are far better than any of the teams put together by Obama and Biden).

It can truly be said that what Obama and Biden (Obama again), did during their twelve years in office weren’t just ‘rookie’ mistakes made by second stringers, what they did was purposeful and planned.  Barack Hussein Obama made no secret of the fact that he intended to “fundamentally transform” the United States of America.

With four more years under Joe Biden to try to accomplish his goal, Obama came very close to succeeding.   Fortunately, Trump and his ‘first string’ team stepped in and stood in his way.

Obama dug America into a very deep hole and it’s going to take time to dig our way out.  Those installed in our judiciary by Obama, as well as the infiltration of all sectors of our government, along with their ANTIFA and other leftists shock troops, continue to try to obstruct President Trump’s efforts help America recover from the Obama-Biden team’s fumbles.

Patriotic Americans need to get behind President Trump, and this includes Republicans serving in the House and Senate.  After taking a bullet for the home team, avoiding a second planned assassination attempt, and everything else the Democrats and their allies have thrown at him, President Trump has earned Republicans’ support—whether they agree with everything he does or not.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but as for me, I sleep a hell of a lot better at night now knowing that our nation doesn’t have a bunch of second stringers in the game.  And I am pretty confident that if given the support he deserves, President Trump is going to win big for America.
