Pritzker Calls for an Insurrection

To quote Shakespeare, “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”  In the case of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker calling for massive protests in the streets across America, the ‘rose’ of which he talks is nothing less than J. B. Pritzker calling for an open rebellion, an insurrection against the Trump administration and the government of the United States of America.

While ‘His Rotundness’ may claim that “peaceful protesting” is merely the right of every American citizen, which is certainly true, we have all seen what peaceful protests arranged by the Democrat Party routinely become.  They become riots with burning and looting, and the destruction of property on a massive scale.  As well as acts of violence against the police and other innocent Americans.  What J.B. Pritzker is calling for reeks of an act of insurrection against the duly elected administration of President Donald J. Trump.  And simply because Pritzker’s party, the Democrats, cannot accept that they were cast aside in the last election.  The Democrats’ whining is typically referred to as “sour grapes.

Nowadays, and for the last several years when traveling throughout the state of Illinois, outside of the Democrat stronghold of Chicago, one will see the front yards of working class homes festooned with signs that read “Pritzker Sucks.”  Were it not for the city of Chicago, the Land of Lincoln would be a solidly red state. Only the population of Chicago prevents Illinois from reliably voting Republican in every election.

In fact, the sentiment of a lot of Illinoisans outside of Chicago is that there should be two states, the State of Illinois, and the State of Chicago.  Not unlike many out in California who wouldn’t mind seeing that state broken into two separate parts; the State of California and the State of Coastal California.  It’s curious how whichever state it is that is run by the progressive Democrats, there’s always a large segment of the state’s population that wants to break away from the rest of the state.  And it is always because the high density urban areas often control the election outcomes, ignoring the wishes of the rest of the state’s population.  Just as J.B. Pritzker ignores the rural parts of Illinois.

Unfortunately as in Illinois, far too many voters feel like they have become disenfranchised via the power of the population of the urban areas controlling everything that goes on in the state.  Out-state Illinoisans get no representation from Democrats, only higher taxes and ridiculous woke policies.

Nearly 2.5 million Illinoisans voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 election, basically forty-three percent of the state’s population.  Yet to Governor J.B. Pritzker and the Democrats, they are the ‘Invisible Illinoisans.’  J.B. Pritzker couldn’t care less about those 2.5 million people in his state, they simply don’t exist to Pritzker and his party.

I think it’s a pretty fair bet that ole J.B.’s calls for an insurrection falls on deaf ears for most Illinoisans outside of Chicago. The hard working, blue collar Illinoisans who don’t live within the city limits of Chicago go to work every day to provide for their families.  Burning and looting isn’t what they do, that’s reserved for Chicagoans, and the other urban areas across the country controlled by the progressive Democrats.

One thing Governor Pritzker might want to consider is that Americans spoke very loudly back in November, and they told the politicians in Washington, and in state houses across the country, that they wanted change.  They were tired of the open borders, the rise in crime, especially crimes committed by individuals welcomed into this country by J.B. Pritzker and his party.

The Illinois governor has threatened before to stand in the way of the Trump administration’s efforts to round up and deport the illegal aliens let into America by the progressive Democrats and the Biden administration.  Certainly by his sheer size alone he could hide thousands behind him.

But Governor Pritzker needs to understand that federal law ‘trumps’ state law, and as judges and others are finding out, if you try to impede or prevent federal authorities from enforcing immigration laws there’s going to be a price paid.  Pritzker’s billions won’t impede the Trump administration from doing their job and cleaning out our country of all the illegal criminals brought in by Pritzker and his Democrat Party.

And Pritzker’s stoking an insurrection – a false charge Democrats repeatedly made against President Trump – might also be viewed by Attorney General Pam Bondi as something other than encouraging “peaceful protests.”
