“Major Strasser’s been shot! Round up the usual suspects,” so said the character Captain Louis Renault, the French Prefect of Police in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, portrayed by actor Claude Reins in the classic Hollywood film of the same name, Casablanca.
At the end of the movie when Captain Renault says this, I can’t help but start thinking of what’s going on in America at this very moment. Innocent Americans are being raped and murdered on our streets almost daily by the "usual suspects," illegal aliens, many of whom entered our country unimpeded during the four years of the Biden administration.
They were not just allowed into America, they were invited. Encouraged by Biden’s open borders policies to come into the United States. Many of our adversary nations began to unload their prisons and mental institutions and ship them off to our country. Upon arrival here they picked right up where they had left off back in their home country.
I’m convinced that many, such as the thousands of military-aged males from China, were sent here with specific instructions from their government. At some point we may well find out what instructions were given by Chairman Xi.
Not only are heinous crimes being committed against innocent individual Americans by the criminal gangs like El Salvador’s MS-13 and the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua, but there appears to be clear evidence that the recent fires that destroyed lives and property in Los Angeles may well have been started, or at the least enhanced, by illegal aliens let into this country.
Most of these crimes would have never occurred, but for the encouragement from the Democrat Party and their supporters to allow an invasion of our country. In a sense, “rounding up the usual suspects” takes on a new meaning. While ICE Agents and other law enforcement partners are hard at work trying to round up illegal aliens and gang members, Attorney General Pam Bondi needs to start looking at the root cause of this nightmare we are now living.

Perhaps it’s time to start “rounding up the usual suspects” who are ultimately behind what’s been going on, and who have helped to continue and to facilitate this invasion of our country, as well as the other crimes associated with obstructing President Trump.
Corrupt politicians and NGOs need to be closely looked at by the Department of Justice. It might be time to start considering RICO as a possible tool to be used. Certainly the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act could be very effective at tying together the actions of politicians, former government officials, and NGOs who worked together to perpetuate this crime against our nation.
Our federal immigration laws were routinely ignored by the Biden administration, and the failure to enforce those laws was the responsibility of then Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Why hasn’t Mayorkas been brought up on any criminal charges? I’m pretty sure there’s a whole slew of federal statutes that would apply to his refusal to enforce federal immigration law, as well as his repeated lying to Congress while under oath.
Mayorkas is just one of the “usual suspects” that needs to be held accountable. And the same goes for former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and many, many others.
I certainly understand that investigations can take some time, and it’s important to have all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed. Especially in politically charged investigations. But the bottom line is that Americans voted for President Trump not just because we wanted to see our border secured and illegal aliens deported, but also because we wanted to see people held accountable for what they did to our country, all in the name of political power.
Hopefully AG Bondi will make this a priority. After all, we certainly know who the “usual suspects” are.
