Democrats are unambiguous about what they would do if they were to return to power. They want to create new states, change the Constitution to get rid of the Electoral College, and they want to pack the Supreme Court with leftists so they can force their will on the American people the way Bill Clinton used to force his will on unsuspecting women. For the people who screech “THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!” their plans are decidedly undemocratic.
But leftists are not people known for changing course – in the 20th century after 50 million people had died as a direct result of their policies they didn’t change course or even take their foot off the gas. Individuals are disposable to leftists, and you’re either on the team or under the tires.
The radical group “Justice Democrats” is one of many groups carrying on that “you’re either with us or you’re our enemy” attitude. They’re like modern Brownshirts – the enforcement wing of the extremists. They’ve been surpassed in attention by the Democratic Socialists of America, but they are essentially the same evil – think of them both as different forms of cancer: they’re similar, but different, and the end result of either is the same.
Justice Democrats gave the world Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14); the DSA gave it Zohran Mamdani: Different forms of cancer.
Now the Justice Democrats are pushing their members to vote for Democrats on the issue of federal judges but they’re doing it to a group with a lot of mentally unstable, violent people who could easily snap and kill someone.
It’s not unheard of; leftists have been murdering, or trying to murder, their political opponents since the “Progressive Movement” started at the beginning of the last century. Find a political assassination and you’d make money if you’d bet it was a leftist.
The group put out a fundraising email under the subject line, “These 10 judges are building an Oligarchy.” There’s nothing people funded by millionaires and billionaires hate more than rich people, or something.
So, who are these judges? You’d think it would be the Supreme Court Justices that displease them, as they are well known and easy to use to mobilize stupid people again. But you’d be wrong. These are lower court judges, people the public does not know (or at least didn’t), who don’t have security, who have acted in a way that displeased the radical left and, mostly, their moneyed masters.
“Ten federal judges. One result: more power for corporations and the ultra-wealthy, less for everyone else,” they wrote. “Together, they’re enabling the slide toward Oligarchy.” It’s a call to action that serves as a call to arms for the unstable.
Then they list the judges along with their “offences.” I’m going to list them here because A) You’re sane people, B) It’s a VIP column, so no unhinged leftists will see it, and C) I want it out there in case one of them acts on it.
Here’s what they sent to members:
- #1: Judge Andrew Oldham called our entire system of administrative law “constitutionally suspect,” a view that threatens the EPA, OSHA, and the CFPB.
- #2: Chief Judge Reed O’Connor ruled the entire Affordable Care Act unconstitutional, a theory so extreme the Supreme Court reversed it 7-2.
- #3: Chief Judge Amos Mazzant struck down overtime pay for 4 million workers and blocked a law targeting anonymous shell companies.
- #4: Judge James C. Ho reported 26 reimbursed trips, including a Cancun junket paid for by the right-wing group behind overturning Roe v. Wade.
- #5: Judge Don R. Willett wants to revive the legal doctrine courts once used to strike down minimum wage and child labor laws.
- #6: Judge Edith H. Jones argued for a theory that would have destroyed the CFPB, the agency that has returned over $21 billion to consumers.
- #7: Judge Victor Marrero approved the T-Mobile/Sprint merger despite objections from 14 state attorneys general. The combined company shed roughly 14,000 jobs.
- #8: Judge J. Campbell Barker helped kill a rule that would have raised franchise and contract workers’ pay by $1.06 billion a year.
- #9: Judge Ada E. Brown nullified the FTC’s non-compete ban, costing 30 million workers more than $400 billion in wages.
- #10: Judge Sean D. Jordan wiped out overtime protections for another 4 million workers, then killed a rule keeping medical debt off credit reports.
- Workers, consumers, and patients lose. Corporations and billionaires get richer. Several of these judges have their lifestyles bankrolled by the same conservative legal network shaping the bench and we’re calling it what it is: corruption. Demand Justice PAC is fighting back: naming names, exposing the money and influence behind these rulings, and fighting to restore independence to our courts.
You’ve likely never heard of any of these judges, or at least most of them, but now every unstable “NO KINGS” radical has, and there’s a pretty good chance people living on the edge of snapping could be looking at a straw that breaks the camel’s back. Is that what Democrats are hoping for? Probably not. But they know it’s a possibility, and they don’t care. Individuals, as I said, are disposable, especially ones who disagree with them.
These are dangerous people.
