Fire Your Whiny Employees Too Upset Over the Election to Do Their Work

Wednesday morning, I was watching Morning Joe because it’s fun to watch these leftists squirm and lie to each other about why they lost the election. It’s fun. It’s not often that bad things actually happen to bad people, so I’m going to enjoy it.

There was a segment on how women were depressed after the election because Donald Trump won. The guests were some editors from Forbes (what the hell happened to Forbes?) and Hillary Clinton’s right hand, Huma Abedin, and the discussion was part of Mika Brzezinski’s self-esteem project “50 over 50,” celebrating women her age because she could monetize her mid-life crisis.

The discussion was as stupid as you’d imagine – a small segment of a cult talking about something that impacts another, a smaller segment of that cult as though the entire world were believers in whatever that cult believes in. It was the perfect encapsulation of how the left operates: they only speak to each other, so their world is THE world.

It’s also why they lost, so I’m glad they’re still doing it.

“Donald Trump’s reelection has sent ripples through the professional world—particularly among women,” opens a Forbes dispatch from inside the left-wing bubble. Ripples in what professions? Why? And why with women “particularly”?

It’s about abortion, naturally, as everything with these people is. It’s always the people who insist anyone not currently having an abortion hates women and views them exclusively as baby machines who think women get pregnant at the drop of a hat or are incapable of exercising any self-control or personal responsibility to avoid getting pregnant, isn’t it?

Yes, accidents happen, but getting pregnant (unless it’s through rape) isn’t an accident – no one is confused as to how it comes about. Unless they’re really, really stupid. Your chances of being hit by a train drop to zero if you don’t play on train tracks, and your chances of getting pregnant...

You get the idea.

It continues, “Studies have shown a link between political outcomes and mental health. According to the American Psychological Association, 68% of Americans reported the 2020 election as a significant source of stress, with women disproportionately affected. Fast forward to 2024, and the stakes feel even higher, with many women interpreting Trump’s return to office as a symbolic and tangible step backward for gender equity, reproductive rights, and workplace equality.”

Aside from being bad writing – they never say why or even offer any evidence that this stress “disproportionately” hits women or why Trump’s win is a “step backward” for anything, they simply assume the reader agrees with them, so there’s no need to explain. It’s a prime example of the echo chamber Democrats created and maintained for themselves.

The article lists “5 Signs of Functional Depression in the Workplace,” which includes not showing up or showing up but basically vegetating while there, not talking with anyone, not doing their job, not talking to anyone who disagrees with them politically, and being moody. In other words, I am a lazy loser sulking all day while collecting a paycheck. Good work, if you can get it.

They offer solutions to employers, not to the losers who can’t function as adults anymore because their side lost an election. They are “Acknowledge the Emotional Toll,” “Offer Mental Health Resources,” “Encourage Flexibility,” “Foster Inclusive Conversations,” and “Provide Training for Managers.”

Each of these “solutions” costs the employer money, time, or both. Here’s an easier way to handle it: Tell your employees who aren’t doing their jobs because Donald Trump won that they can either do the job they are paid to do or find a new job. To help facilitate that search, you will happily unburden them from the constraints of their current employment so they can spend all day doing it.

This is exactly why I say you should never hire anyone. It’d be a lawsuit to fire. They don’t all have purple hair, nose rings, and stupid tattoos randomly on their legs; sometimes, they look normal. They are not.

Learn how to spot them so you can avoid them. Check their social media, listen to see if they start a lot of sentences with “I feel” or drive a Prius or similar car with more than one bumper sticker on it. If they do, run.

Forbes continues, “For many professional women, Trump’s reelection feels like a direct challenge to their progress and autonomy. Social media is full of posts of women share stories of spending hours doom-scrolling through news, ruminating over the future of reproductive rights, or disassociating from daily tasks. They describe feelings of helplessness, exacerbated by seeing colleagues—some of whom they respect—celebrating the election outcome.” Again, every woman lives in constant fear of getting pregnant without seemingly knowing how to prevent it. At least in the echo chamber.

“This emotional weight often translates into avoidance behaviors, procrastination, or outright burnout,” Forbes writes. “For women in leadership, who are often expected to ‘keep it together’ and lead through crises, the burden is even heavier.”

I had no idea it was such a difficult task for adult women to act like adults; thanks for the heads-up, Forbes!

They conclude, “Organizations have a critical role to play in fostering an environment where employees feel supported, not silenced. Creating a psychologically safe workplace isn’t just an act of compassion—it’s good business. Studies consistently show that employees perform better when they feel heard and valued, even in the face of adversity.”

No, fire them. Fire them all. It is not an employer's job to be an emotional tampon for unstable, pampered snowflakes because reality becomes something they don’t like. People have real problems, not “The President is a meanie” garbage. You don’t need people like this in your life, and you sure as hell need to avoid hiring them, whether they’re women, think they are, or are just soft-headed leftist men.

These people need to grow the hell up or move on. If you need a “psychologically safe workplace” that involves coddling you because your candidate lost an election, you are pathetic. Notice how there was nothing remotely similar written about people who didn’t like the outcome of the 2020 election? These people have been insulated from reality for too long; it’s time to let it hit them right in the face.
