Joy Reid Is Now Pro-Racist?

Race to the Bottom – MSNBC

  • Is this a "Not all racism is created equally" kind of scenario?!

Okay, gang, get ready to gird yourselves for something shocking: Joy Reid managed to say something completely bat-guano-crazy!

The "shock" here is that the woman who delivers quotidian rants on her show about how anything is racist, this time came up with a stance where she was…pro-racist?! It sure sounds that way.

In her effort to (shockingly) criticize Donald Trump, she came to complain about one of his policy positions. Apparently, he intends to bring an end to racism against whites.

So this means that racism against whites exists (something long denied by the likes of Reid), that it is wrong to want to end it (which makes Reid a black supremacist, by her standards), and that she is actually in favor of racism.

Quite the night from you, Joy!

DNC PR Firm – POLITICO

  • Now…why is this wrong, exactly?

In another case of not thinking things through simply because Trump said something, Politico tried to slam Trump as being incorrect on a matter in describing Kamala Harris' campaign policy (to this date undeclared). Apparently, he crossed a line by declaring that she is supposed to be tied to Joe Biden's economy.

Questions abound.

  • Is there a reason you do not want Harris connected to this economy?

  • Are you going to ignore all the times Harris and the press credited her with involvement in economic decisions?

  • Since when does a vice president have no connection to an administration?

  • And does this then mean she was completely ineffectual and not involved at all in the administration's decisions?

Anti-Social Media – DISNEY COMPANY

  • Ah, so THIS is why you always read the fine print in the terms.

Disney is facing a lawsuit from a man whose wife died at one of the company's theme parks from an allergic reaction she had to food served. He states that she stressed the need for care from the staff, who assured her there were no ingredients of which she was concerned.

The company's lawyers are coming up with a truly insane defense: They cannot be sued because the man signed up for a trial of the Disney+ streaming service.

They have in the agreement terms language saying they should be cleared of lawsuits involving any Disney company if they agree during sign-up. Yes, this is their position:

Attorneys for Disney claim that the Disney+ terms state: 'When you create a Disney+ or ESPN+ account, you also agree to the Walt Disney Company’s Terms of Use,' which 'govern your use of other Disney Services.' The services include 'sites, software, applications, content, product and services,' which include the Disney Parks and Resorts website, they say.

Both Kinds of Standards – ABC NEWS

  • Okay, it is not wrong for ANY candidate to have a friendly news outlet...

Recall weeks back when Trump came out and declared he would debate Kamala Harris on Fox News? He was scorched by many for wanting to hold the event on a friendly network.

Well, the agreed-upon debate is being staged at ABC News, where not only is there a contentious defamation suit filed by Trump, but one of Kamala Harris' dear friends is a top-flight Disney executive, the company that owns ABC News.

First Amendment Strike Force – FACEBOOK

Actor Dennis Quaid is out promoting his upcoming film release where he portrays former president Ronald Reagan. (Disclosure: The film is a co-production with Townhall parent company Salem Media.) He spoke with Newsweek and told them that in the runup to the release, they are being blocked from promoting the film on Facebook:

'Facebook is once again censoring the free flow of ideas, deciding what's best for us to see and hear; only this time it's throttling advertising and promotion for my movie about Ronald Reagan,' the actor said via an email sent exclusively to Newsweek.

As seen with the Google trampling of pro-Trump information, Facebook executives chalked this up to an unintentional technical mistake – the kind of tech errors that always seem to run in one direction.

“Reagan” will be debuting in theaters on August 30.
