The Tree of National Socialism

“Think of the Press as a great Keyboard on which the government can play.”

For the past six years mainstream media (MSM) has been lauding the great recovery. Again and again we are told that America is back. Jobs are becoming plentiful. In fact, young people (college graduates) are leaving entry level jobs to take the next rung up on the employment ladder, or so the government says.

Whether it’s jobs, housing, energy or drones, whatever the government says, the talking heads repeat word for word.

“The most brilliant propagandist’ technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is born in mind. Constantly-it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over and over.”

It’s better, it’s better, it’s better.

Recovery, recovery, recovery.

Unemployment 10% to 8.6%, 7.2% to 6.4%, 6.1% to 5.8%.

Jobs, jobs, jobs.

Spend, spend, spend.

However, we have the greatest number of Americans living on food stamps in history-DO NOT repeat, DO NOT repeat, DO NOT repeat.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield people from the political, economic, and/or military consequences of the lie. It best becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its power to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

The truth, so hard to swallow because of the repetitiveness of the lies, is that full-time jobs have fallen off the cliff. Part-timers are popping up everywhere. Obamacare has diminished the quality of healthcare due to the new assembly line mentality. A college degree is not the pathway to a guaranteed successful tomorrow. China, like Japan before it, is buying up America from icon hotels to ravaged suburbs. The military industrial complex holds full sway and will continue to put young men and women in harm’s way for the benefit of a bottom line. The stock market continues to sing the siren songs to abscond with the little that retirees have left. Etc., etc., etc.

The Obama Administration and its varying governmental departments have used the techniques employed by the above historic character to a “par excellence”.

The author, Michael Crichton, in his book “Timeline” said “Professor Johnson often said that if you don’t know history, you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that didn’t know it was part of a tree.”

The quotes from above didn’t come from Crichton nor Madison Avenue nor even a White House Press Secretary. They came from Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda under Adolph Hitler’s Tree of National Socialism.

That’s quite a tree the leaf doesn’t know it’s attached to!
