In Election 2024, Donald Trump won a resounding victory. No one should doubt the incredible effort that he pulled off. If not for the corrupt corporate press, an abusive judicial system, and the relentless haranguing of every other institution co-opted by the regressive left, he would have won a Reagan or Nixon-style landslide.
The first three weeks into his second presidency, Trump is keeping a lot of promises, especially promises that he had made in the first term but bungled because of bad staffing, poor timing, or lack of experience. Things are turning out for the better.
In stark contrast to this effective, rebranded Republican executive (and a party transformed into a pro-worker populist movement), the demoralized Democrat party should be reassessing its platform, program, and positions on just about everything. When evil uber-liberal actor/comedian Michael Rappaport is singing Republican Trump’s praises, you know that liberal interests in this country have lost their way.
Some of the most consequential issues in current political discussion revolve around confused men invading women's sports, the crushing consequences of an open border, and a government apparatus ignoring American citizens while promoting illegal aliens.
The crushing cost of everything is weighing on people’s minds like never before, as well. For the first time in decades, American citizens want to see less spending. Where the cuts occur is another matter, but at least this is a healthy discussion in the United States and worldwide. The government spends too much, does too much, is too much, and the people have finally had too much of all of the above.

How is the Democratic Party responding to these changes in attitude or the attitudes of the people and their votes? Instead of determining where they want wrong, the Democrats are doubling down on dumb.
They insist on celebrating transgenderism as another civil right when it is a clear and convincing mental illness. They insist on protecting illegal aliens, no matter how they got into the country and no matter what they're doing in this country, good or bad. They insist with the utmost hysterical hostility on protecting the waste, fraud, and graft from every agency in the federal government.
The Democrats are doubling down on dumb, but are they really that dumb? I submit it's worse than that. The Democratic Party has been finally and fully co-opted (or taken hostage) by the Saul Alinsky Left, which reared up in 1972.
Liberal activists within the Democratic Party had been fighting for a true progressive candidate four years prior. Instead of getting the Bernie Sanders-style of socialism or bleeding-heart liberalism, they got Hubert Humphrey, the epitome of the (pro-war, pro-spending, pro-corporate) establishment, and to top it all off, he was the current vice president under the deeply unpopular Lyndon Baines Johnson. Alinsky told a depressed cadre of progressive domestic terrorists post-1968: “Get organized and do better at the next convention.”
They did. They got George McGovern, and Nixon won 49 states (including the elusive state of Minnesota). Democrats got defeated big time.
Fifty-three years later, those Alinksyites have taken over the Democrat party, and their party is no longer up for the taking.
Disaffected liberals are experiencing the consequences of allowing those purple-haired college radicals to pull the levers of power. They are no longer merely throwing temper tantrums on college campuses or taking up the streets with feckless yet frustrating solidarity protests. They have received the power and resources to create their communist plots and plans.
And look at the results. In every major, Democrat-dominated city, crime is rampant, sewage and waste are prevalent, and disorder and chaos are the norm, not the exception. Every day, everyday liberals are getting mugged by reality, in many cases literally.
Those citizens are learning from their mistakes and voting for the GOP. In contrast, the political party run by Alinsky apparatchiks is not interested in learning anything. They know “Everything,” and they know better than you. They will die for their unshakable vision of a perfect world, and everybody must line up with it or line up for the firing squad. They disdain the American voting public as a wide swath of unwashed humanity, a bunch of stupid rubes who need more pressure, provocation, and promotion of the progressive agenda before they finally get The Message.
That's why you see black supremacist politicians like Maxine Waters and Jasmine Crockett still screaming about racism. That's why Greg Connelly of Virginia will clutch his pearls when he hears the term “tranny” in a committee hearing. The rest of us are fed up with being offended by this racial and biological insanity—and we’re tired of paying for it!
The voting public needs to understand that they won't witness a real transformation of the Democratic Party. The only thing that will succeed is the Democratic Party’s destruction. They are so woke that there’s no point in trying to wake them up. There is no negotiating with terrorists, even domestic ones. The only solution is for the Democratic Party to enter into its demise.
They insist on doubling down on dumb. Let them double down on their own destruction.
They had a chance for normalcy under Bill Clinton. He veered to the right, i.e., towards common sense and constitutionalism, following the Election 1994 shellacking. But then came Barack Obama, an Alinsky acolyte at heart. He would make America fit his image, or she would die trying. His brand of college-based progressivism with corporate backing has seized control.
And with no Democrats, what of the two-party system?
Two factions will emerge from the GOP, a rift brewing since the Reagan Administration. A conservative wing will remain committed to constitutional rule, economic conservatism, American liberty, and Judeo-Christian morality. In opposition, the current crash of RINOs will maintain their push for power, prestige, and profit, and their commitment to keeping the swamp afloat.
These differences will become more pronounced in the next few years, especially if Election 2026 confirms the current polling, which foresees Democratic Doom.
