Greetings everyone, after last week's Presidential address to the joint session of Congress, I think this is a question all Americans are asking. President Trump was quite direct, and appropriate, in pointing out that his address was his fifth and he realized that there was nothing he could say, or do, that would wipe the angry looks from the faces of the people on his right side of the House floor. But there was something very different about this time, and it was reflected in the speech polls. The American people watching the address gave it resounding high marks, and I mean from CBS and CNN polls.
The very opening statement from President Trump gave indication as to where the address was heading, "America is back." Now, I can understand that the progressive socialist leftists have policy disagreements with President Trump... however...
Why not stand when it was announced that military recruiting hit fifteen-year highs?
Why not stand to congratulate a young man who found out from the President of the United States that he was accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point?
Why not pay homage and stand for a woman who had lost her 12-year-old daughter to two criminal illegal immigrants...who now has a Nature preserve named in her honor?
Why not stand and support a young woman, volleyball player, who had her head smashed and suffered traumatic brain injury from a biological male who spiked a ball to her head?
Why not stand for a 13-year-old brain cancer survivor who was ceremoniously given honorary membership into the US Secret Service...who then gave the Head of said agency a huge hug?
Yes, the question has to be asked of every single one of those Democrats who were there: What do you stand for?
Even after the debilitating polling results for the Democrats, they still carried on with sophomoric antics upon the censuring of Rep. Al Green (D-TX) who decided to disrupt the President during his address, and point his cane at him. The Democrats decided to stand in the well of the House of Representatives and sing "We Shall Overcome."
Overcome what?
I remember a time when the Democrats did stand, and cheer in unison. It was when Barack Hussein Obama asserted during a State of the Union address that he had a pen and a phone and would take executive action. I guess that is just fine with Democrats when it is their guy.
Does the Democrat party stand for open borders and for allowing criminal illegal immigrants, like the ones who murdered 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray to remain in our country? Just last week we had several "sanctuary city" Mayors speak before a hearing on Capitol Hill. It would appear that Mayor Wu of Boston is confused about the Supremacy Clause (Article VI, Section 1) of the U.S. Constitution. She believes that state and local levels of governance do not have to follow federal law. Ya know, it is not a law if it does not align with the leftist ideology. There was not a single Democrat who stood hearing the news that border encounters are at an unprecedented low—a 97% decrease.
The Democrats had some cute little paddles with messages, one of them said “Musk Steals.” Hmm, I tend to believe that it has been the federal government that has been stealing the resources of American taxpayers, and Congress is supposed to have oversight over the federal government agencies. The Democrats could not stand for the revelation of fraud, waste, and abuse of taxpayer dollars? Do they believe themselves so above the law that they do not have to be held accountable and responsible to We the People? It seems apparent based upon their refusal to stand and telling about what they do stand for.
Do the Democrats not stand for a strong military with increased recruiting? Do they really stand with a biological male that smashed a volleyball into a young girl's head? Do they really stand against Title IX and protecting women's sports? Do they stand for more American girls and women to be victims of criminal illegal immigrants? Do they stand for more human and sex trafficking, meaning the abduction of more little boys and girls? Matter of fact, do they stand for more children, unaccompanied minors, to go missing, adding to the 300K that are already unaccounted for?
Even when it was announced that the ISIS terrorist responsible for the Abbey Gate bombing that took the lives of 13 American troops, Marines, Sailor, and Soldier, the Democrats could not stand. So, it must be presumed that they stand for Islamic jihadists and terrorists, just like with the transnational narco-criminal terrorists. We all know that the Democrats do stand for designating concerned parents and pro-life activists as domestic terrorists...not those who tear down American flags and replace them with Hamas flags.
Are there any Democrats who will stand for the right reason, with the American people? There must be five who would look at what happened a week ago at the joint session of Congress and say, “I cannot stand for THIS anymore.” C'mon, I know there are some who reject the despicable behavior and wish not to stand for progressive socialists and their ideological agenda. The judgement of the American people is coming, and electoral power will NEVER be bestowed upon those who would not stand last Tuesday evening.
