Society: If You Can Keep It

In each case, things were humming along until they were not. During the Fauci Flu, Rambo-enhanced public officials took the arrival of a relatively non-dangerous engineered virus and decided that it would be a good occasion to shut down schools, businesses, air travel, churches, and anything else where two people might be together. Bustling cities became empty; many businesses went kaput, students sat at home and became even more more dumb. Everything went south; we have not yet fully recovered from the economic (inflation…), social, and educational destruction that took place, and of course nobody from Fauci to the Bat Lady has been held responsible for the disaster. A relatively safe virus was engineered to harm humans; it got out of an incompetent Chinese lab, millions died, and annually, people still get sick from it. Did somebody go to jail? Nope. Did somebody take responsibility? Nada.

In parallel, we had BLM. The Left found their martyr: a fentanyl-addled career criminal who died after being subdued by a cop. In the day, we — society — were on the side of cops unless they were really dirty. Now, the cops are the bad guys, and in England, the normal citizens are as well. The death of George Floyd was twisted into pre-planned destructive protests timed to harm Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection chances. Stores burned, people were killed, cities became war zones. George Soros and his colleagues waited decades to destroy traditional society. They’re not into the God thing, normal families, businesses closing on weekends, and the like. They have a fetish for the bad people being the real good guys. His supported prosecutors make it their business not to charge minority criminals, not to seek bail, and to allow dangerous prisoners out as quickly as possible. The George Floyd destruction was not the same flavor as COVID, but the effect was the same: the normal running of life was stopped — intentionally — for larger social engineering goals.

Now fast-forward to France and Italy. People who have no business being in these formerly great countries joined the local commies and socialists in order to destroy things that don’t exist in their home countries. Whether it was government buildings or high-end shops, they burned, stole, and looted. Some of those who lost their stores recounted the decades they spent building their brand and business. Within hours, it was gone. And I don’t want to see in the comments the garbage that the BLM clowns sold about “insurance”. I have no idea how insurance works in Europe, but to this day, there are still dozens of businesses in the Twin Cities that never came back from their demise in 2020. The same may well be true in Paris and elsewhere on the Continent: some of the stores will not come back. The social fabric that existed will not return. Even if a store reopens, you think that they will not add layers of security and protective glass that will make shopping there like buying at the local penitentiary? It takes decades to build a social space, one where people know the signposts and have their daily and weekly rituals. It only takes a few hours or days to turn it all into ashes and memories.

The overall defining feature of the modern left is stupidity rooted in ignorance. The problem with this combo is that the practitioners mistake their university degrees for wisdom. They are certain that they know best. Forget all of that Bible stuff and the words of the ancients in the Magna Carta and the US Constitution. We know the way. We need to limit your choices for you to enjoy “democracy”. We have to police wrongthink via “disinformation” by silencing voices that point out how corrupt and wrong we are. Hollywood has the advantage that it can do split screens; real life cannot. But if we could show Twitter/X with the previous ownership put side-by-side with the current version owned by Elon Musk, we would not believe the difference. A brave woman who goes by DataRepublican on X has put out massive amounts of recent information on the Democrats’ plans to declare the federal government “illegitimate” should Republicans win. Their governors will then ignore federal law and take matters into their own hands. We only needed to see the way USAID was abused to advance ideological programs and enrich the right people to understand how evil the Soros/left/Democrat crowd is.

If France had been destroyed by a massive earthquake, normal people would have said that it was “an act of God”. Atheists would say that it was chance, karma, “the gods,” or whatever. But what happened last week was policy. The people who have no business being present played a key role in the destruction. Even the legal second-and third-generation immigrants should have been in jail when they torched cars after some soccer match a year or two ago. Policing and punishment have not been abandoned; rather, they have been repurposed. Instead of putting criminals in jail, good citizens are being criminalized and thus socially neutered. I saw several sad and pathetic videos of the violence in France and Italy. One from the latter showed a fellow standing in front of his store. He had a metal rod in his hand. Now this looked like a good start. But he knew that he couldn’t really use it. He would run after one fellow, and a couple of others would dart into his store. At one point, he stood threateningly over some guy who had stolen some goods, but he could only wave his rod because he knew that had he used it he would have gone to jail. In the past, we encouraged citizen arrests and the arming of the citizenry. Today, at least in Europe, being a good citizen is the first step in becoming a model prisoner.

I am sure that one can find somebody who said for each midterm election for the past 50 years that that specific election was the most important in the history of the galaxy. But this time it may be true. Democrats are no longer just a little different from Republicans. Whereas most Republicans represent, in their values, Americans through the ages, Democrats have become full-fledged Marxists in cahoots with Islamists. Both wish to destroy what we call and like as the United States. They would love to wield greater power to control how you live, what you can say, how much energy you are allowed, etc. They definitely would want to impeach Donald Trump again and again, because they have no solutions for the American public. They are a danger to the continued existence and success of the U.S. I don’t believe that such a statement is an exaggeration.

There was once an election in which one candidate died. The other was so awful that his party told its members to vote for the dead guy — "it was important”. Please vote for Republicans. There are some losers with an R after their names, but at least they are not out to destroy the best country in the world. No other country offers such opportunities, wealth, and the freedom to be left alone. The left can’t stand it. Vote Republican and get others to do the same.
