Malfeasance is easy; fixing it is nearly impossible.
How many bad things happened not only during the past four years but even well before? It seems like so many areas of American life need redress, but every effort to fix or return things to where they once were has become a battle: a battle with Congress, the district courts, or within the Republican party. Let’s take a quick look at some of the things that need to be fixed and are not moving very fast or at all at this time.
*The Epstein Affair. Jeffrey Epstein, even after his suspicious death, remains a mysterious character. The latest explanation for the delayed release of files related to his activities and associates is national security concerns. Was he being run by a US governmental organization? Did people in the government know of the escapades of the rich and powerful at his houses and on his island? If someone is listed on his private plane’s manifest, does it automatically imply criminal behavior? I am sure the Department of Justice (DoJ) is working to get the information. However, even now, we still know nothing about the man who conveniently committed suicide when the two guards on duty fell asleep, the security cameras did not work at the time, and the half-hour suicide watch checks did not take place.
*The Covid Misinformation Campaign. Senior figures at the NIH and CDC lied to and misled the American public. The virus did not come from a wet market, as a paper instigated by Tony Fauci suggested. The virus resulted from gain-of-function research, though Dr. Fauci denied the same. Officials closed schools, demanded six-foot separation, and forced masks on the people for no scientific reason. People were denied potentially life-saving medicine and instead forced to take experimental mRNA vaccines. As Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, head of the NIH, recently pointed out, where the RNA went was not clear; the same was true for how many proteins were produced per strand and how accurate the final protein product was. Anyone in handcuffs? Anybody indicted? Anybody in jail? No.
*The politicization of the FBI. The FBI went from the premier law enforcement agency of the United States to the personal Stasi of Democratic leaders. It arrested Donald Trump’s associates and went through his personal property. It arrested people who protested at abortion clinics or who expressed Wrongthink. It worked directly with Facebook, Twitter, and others to manage what information was allowed to be disseminated and who needed to be de-platformed. The NY office refused to turn over its pile of Epstein files.
*The Russiagate Lie. The persecution of Donald Trump as a supposed Russian asset was set in motion by a departing Barack Obama and fully embraced by the FBI. Huge resources were invested in finding the new president guilty, while the Agency paid the author of the fake Russian Dossier. The Agency misled FISA courts and went after Trump associates to bring down candidate Trump and later the 45th president.
*The 51 Treasonators. In one of the darkest moments in American history, fifty-one individuals who swore allegiance to the Constitution and had access to America’s most sensitive secrets lied to the American people. The FBI had held Hunter Biden’s laptop for a year and knew that the details of his business dealings and personal life were absolutely true. To blunt the election impact of the bombshell “laptop from hell”, these fifty-one people falsely claimed that the computer was a fake, planted by the nefarious Russians. It was all a lie, and the instigator, Tony Blinken, and his dozens of co-conspirators acted to prevent Donald Trump’s reelection, even if it meant lying to 300 million American citizens. None has apologized to the American people.
*Disinformation Mania. The Biden administration tried to appoint a disinformation czar. “Disinformation” has nothing to do with truth or lies. Disinformation is any knowledge that may run counter to the official narrative of the Democrats and their associates. Saying that Joe Biden was cognitively challenged was absolutely true, but was treated as disinformation, as it weakened the Democrats’ power. Disinformation was a weapon to quiet those who dared speak the truth. Twitter, now X, moving to Elon Musk’s ownership was one of the most important events of the past 20 years. Sure, there is a lot of nonsense on X. But people can also publish the truth without fear of being deplatformed, which was not true beforehand.
*Trans for Kids. Parents, doctors, and teachers failed children by beginning chemical and surgical procedures that leave youngsters sterile and physically harmed. Even if a boy sleeps with a Barbie doll or a girl can throw a spiral pass 70 yards, there is no basis for damaging children through puberty blockers or “top” or “bottom” surgery. One cannot convert a boy to a girl or vice versa. The actions of those who swore to do no harm rival those of Josef Mengele.
*Trans as Reason to Destroy Women’s Spaces. I grew up in the ’70s and ’80s, at a time when women were very protective of their spaces and sports. Radcliffe had grants and activities only for women. One could ask for a Radcliffe only diploma but not a Harvard only equivalent. Now, many feminists have accepted men pretending to be women and welcomed them to women’s bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports. It would have been one thing if only men had pushed to take over women’s sports, but women were behind the move as well. And the victims are the girls and women whose victories are stolen from them by mediocre male athletes.
*Ejecting Illegal Aliens. Joe Biden had a heck of an easier time bringing 15 million illegal aliens into the country than Donald Trump is having in trying to give them the boot. Between the logistical aspects of finding and arresting the illegal aliens and the legal challenges raised regarding their ejection, the task is moving forward, but not without issues. While a guy could be denied a flight to Hoboken because his Covid test was 25 hours old, the millions who entered the country through intentionally porous borders were never checked for their virus status.
*Reining in Universities. Even if one has no particular opinion on the Israeli-Palestinian issues, one would be in shock to see masked students taking over university buildings and demanding the destruction of Israel and the Jews. The universities reached this point after decades of accepting Jew-hating students as the price for accepting Qatari/Saudi/Kuwaiti money. They reached the bottom by skewing acceptance to less deserving candidates and watering down acceptance requirements. The government’s demands from Harvard seemed over-the-top until one realized how compromised the entire university system is today. Harvard has become a $50 billion hedge fund with a hockey team. Professors who encourage Jew-baiting whine that cancer research will suffer if federal money is withheld. Their university has become a cancer on the body politic.
*Winning the Culture Wars. A band I have never heard put up strongly anti-Israeli signs during its set at Coachella. “F*ck Israel. Free Palestine”. The crowd went along with the demand. There never was a Palestine: the land went from Ottoman to British to Israeli rule. There never was an Arab state of Palestine. The bozos at the concert would never know. Their education was mere indoctrination. They know nothing and accept whatever the left tells them.
Many people have harmed the US and its citizens. We didn't even touch the green energy scam. I don’t know when we will see justice for their willful violation of the law and damage to the citizens of the Republic. An indictment is not born in a day, and one does not want to adopt Democratic extra-legal actions. Still, people want to see justice for years of bad behavior.
