David Crowley is trying to hide his record as Milwaukee County Executive, and it's understandable why. During his time in office, Milwaukee County has a budget deficit, increased crime, high taxes, and cuts to services. His failed record would harm his gubernatorial bid, so Crowley has to blame Republicans, including Scott Walker, for his mismanagement.
But this ad is so chock-full of lies it can't be ignored.

Actually, in 2026, David Crowley proposed the largest property tax increase in at least two decades after jacking up the sales tax on the poorest Wisconsinites. Around the same time, he gave executives an 11.5% pay increase.
